Effect of Mn Deficiency on Leaf Dry Weight and Leaf Phenotype In a two-way ANOVA ( Table 1 ), it was found that genotypes, MnSO 4 concentration, and genotypes × MnSO 4 concentration interactions had highly significant effects on shoot dry weight, root dry weight, and plant height of maize seedlings ( p < 0.01), except for the genotype × MnSO 4 concentration interaction, which had no significant effect on root dry weight ( p > 0.05).
Besides this, it awarded highly significant ( p ≤ 0.01) increases in soil content of available P, K, and Fe by 84.7, 58.9, and 82.6%, respectively ( Table 3 ), and soil CEC, organic C content, and invertase and catalase activities by 83.0, 100.4, 104.3, and 89.7%, respectively ( Figure 4 and Figure 6 ), compared to control.
Both irrigation and nitrogen application had a highly significant ( p < 0.01) effect on the total water consumption of eggplants, and their interaction also reached a significant ( p < 0.05) level.
There were highly significant negative correlations ( p < 0.01, Figure 5 , Supplementary Table S2 ) between the quantum yield of regulated energy dissipation (NPQ) and leaf fresh weight (LFW), leaf dry weight (LDW), leaf area (LA), and leaf thickness (LT).
In all the extracts, highly significant ( p ≤ 0.01) total (0.9 < r < 1.0) and very strong positive (0.7 < r < 0.9) correlations, according to the Roemer-Orphal scale, were observed between AC values determined by ABTS, DPPH, and FRAP assays, as well as between TP and TNF values ( Figure 2 ).
