Statistical modelling of FICI values The results of the Wald χ 2 tests from the fitted linear mixed-effects model evaluating FICI values indicated that antibacterial combination had a strong and highly significant main effect on FICI values ( p < 0.0001), as did compound ratio ( p < 0.0001), indicating that both the identity of the combination and the dosage ratio influenced the degree of synergism.

Model 3 addressed questions three and four, and fits significantly better than model 2 (likelihood-ratio chi-square = 16855.689–16712.490 = 143.2, which on 9 degrees of freedom is highly significant, p<0.0001).

Linear trends in both cross-sectional associations between baseline age and baseline PP as well as between baseline age and PP at 6-year follow-up, were highly significant (p=.0001) even after adjusting for race and hypertensive medication use.
On the other hand, a highly significant regression was found for V 1 ( P < 0.0001; R 2 = 0.047, Figure 5B ) which is similar to the association of the NGS-58779 SNP marker using the same population structure ( P < 0.0003; R 2 = 0.037, Figure 5D ).
Discrimination models were examined using OPLS-DA, revealing highly predictive (Q2 > 0.63) and highly significant ( p < 0.0001) differences between sTBI patients and OI controls using metabolic profiles obtained by DI/LC–MS/MS and 1 H-NMR on day 4 post-injuries (Fig. 1 ).
One-way ANOVA ( Tables S1 and S3 ) further indicated that the overall model was highly significant ( p < 0.0001), with experimental data closely fitting the predictive model.
From Fisher's method, we can combine these results to one chi-squared test which is very highly significant (Fisher's method, χ 2 = 80.4, df = 10, P < 0.0001).
Analyzing all ten eggs together, repeated measures ANOVAs were highly significant across the eight time periods for all three direct spectral variables: incident light caused a decrease on average reflectance (F 8, 72 = 11.81, p<0.0001), a decrease in the height of the blue-green peak (of the seven blue-green eggs) relative to the surrounding areas of the spectrum (F 8, 48 = 11.50, p<0.0001), and the height of the UVB peak (F 8, 72 = 11.39, p<0.0001) ( Fig. 4 ).
When analyzed as a mean of all GLU injections at the same dose, the oxygen increase was highly significant ( F (12,240) = 4.13 and F (12,900) = 5.33 for slow- and rapid time resolutions; p < 0.0001), it appeared with ~40-s latency after injection onset, and peaked 30–40 s after injection offset.

The random effects model indicated a significant mean difference (MD) of -1.66 (95% CI: -2.39 to -0.93), with a highly significant p-value of <0.0001, suggesting a substantial reduction in abdominal pain due to probiotic treatment.
