Introduction The overall prevalence of tobacco consumption among people in the world is on a decreasing trend [ 1 ], but deaths related to it are increasing around the world.

Compared with the NC group, the expression level of TGFBI in the LPS-treated group showed an increasing trend from 0–24 h and a decreasing trend from 24–120 h.
