PS128 administration significantly decreased the mRNA level of Nos2 ( Figure 3 C; p < 0.0001), and we further noticed a decreasing trend in the level of iNOS protein in the PS128 group compared with those in the Rot group ( Figure 3 G, p = 0.0797).

In addition, a decreasing trend in the probability of NC was observed when iPTH (at 28 days of life) increased (OR (based on 10 units change) 0.911, 95% CI 0.834–0.994, p = 0.08) ( Figure 4 ).

We found a positive trend ( F = 0.20, p = 0.65) in corneal densitometry despite the use of HPCS, with a decreasing trend ( F = 3.30, p = 0.08) after switching to Cystadrops ® .

Although none of these indices showed statistically significant differences among the groups, the Shannon index showed a decreasing trend in the CLO-300 group compared to the CLO-0 group ( P =0.08).

In contrast, blood T 3 concentration increased with Se supplementation (RMD = + 0.17 ng/mL; 95% CI: +0.08, + 0.26; p = 0.0002) compared to the control mean (1.52 ng/ml), while T 4 concentration showed a decreasing trend (RMD = -0.47 μg/dL; 95% CI: -0.99, + 0.06; p = 0.08).

The results revealed a decreasing trend in the SPP1 mRNA abundance associated with the mutant G allele (P = 0.08; Figure 4A ).

Muscle Activity As shown in Figure 6 , the average muscle activities of target semitendinosus (ST) and gluteus maximus (GM) showed a decreasing trend (two-sided paired t -test, p = 0.08, p = 0.08) but not a significant reduction during the whole gait cycle compared to that in the NE_W condition.

We observed a significant decrease in P-gp protein/ ABCB1 mRNA and BCRP protein ( p < 0.05) from early to mid-gestation ( Figure 7 B–D), whereas there was a decreasing trend in ABCG2 mRNA expression ( p = 0.08) ( Figure 7 E).

In addition, this study also found a decreasing trend in birth weight and the rate of macrosomia (3.3 vs. 16.7%, P = 0.08) ( 71 ).

However, although we could observe a decreasing trend of HOMA-IR index after BBR treatment, it has no significant difference compared with the model group [ SMD = 2.75, 95% CI (−0.35, 5.85), p = 0.08] ( Table 1 and Supplementary Figure S6C ).

The ratio of activating to inhibitory IRS1 phosphorylation exhibited a decreasing trend ( Figure 6 H, p = 0.08) in response to exposure to the combination of fructose and stress.

A decreasing trend in Eggerthella was also observed ( p = 0.08).

However, in 12-week-old turkeys, a decreasing trend in α diversity was observed ( P = 0.08) in the S group with SH inoculation, potentially associated with an increased inoculum level (10 8 CFU/bird) used in the 12-week-old turkeys compared with their 7-week-old counterparts (10 6 CFU/bird).

Clinical analysis Although no significant differences in terms of lean and total adipose tissues were observed (data not shown), in HE group visceral adipose tissue showed a decreasing trend ( P =0.08) that resulted significant when normalized by total adipose tissue ( P =0.03) ( Table 1 ).

The amount of misses showed a decreasing trend after choline administration ( t (27) = 1.816, p = 0.080).

FT3 and 25OH-vitD showed a decreasing trend across the three groups (FT3: P = 0.08, 25OH-vitD: P = 0.13).

In the breast meat of FLHS-affected laying hens, there was a decreasing trend in the content of lipids with a carbon chain unsaturation level of 1 ( P = 0.08), while no significant changes were observed in saturated and polyunsaturated lipids ( Figure 2 D).

Although it was not statistically significant, we also observed a decreasing trend in spontaneous inhibitory charge transfer in Scn8a D/+ mice (–20,424 ± 4,895 pA × s; P = 0.08; Figure 5E ). sIPSC recordings include both AP-induced synaptic transients as well as mIPSCs, which occur because of spontaneous vesicle fusion in the absence of an AP ( 48 , 49 ).

Similar to what was observed in pseudoglandular stage, canalicular stage HFLF displayed a decreasing trend of ACTA2 expression when treated with FGFR2 siRNA and rhFGF18 ( p = 0.08; Figure 2B ), whereas FGFR3 siRNA combined with rhFGF18 showed no change.

Although a post hoc analysis revealed a decreasing trend in HFD-RS female mice compared to HFD-NRS female mice, the difference was not statistically significant ( n = 5, Tukey’s multiple comparison test, p = 0.08).
