For the TLS-like niche in TNBC patients, the inner-validation set and external-validation set-1 show a slight trend toward better survivals for TLS-like-positive patients, though the differences are not statistically significant—likely due to the small size of 31 and 45 TNBC patients in these sets ( Figures 15 C and 15F).
Figure 2b suggests a slight trend such that threat to family was associated with anxiety symptoms among more politically engaged (1–3) U.S. citizen students with undocumented parents and not those who are the least politically engaged (0; for average marginal effects, see Appendix Table C1 in the online version of the article).
HEK293T cells with net reductive TCA due to loss of SDHAF2 and antimycin A treatment, as well as UQCRC1 KO and UQCRC1/SDHAF2 DKO , showed a slight trend toward a lower ubiquinol to ubiquinone ratio relative to conditions where SDHAF2 is present; however, the change in ratio was not significant (compare red solid/hatched to purple solid/hatched in Fig. 6A ).
There was a slight trend toward increasing residuals with increasing values of the dependent variable; in our opinion this trend was not enough to invalidate the linear model, in view of the high correlations obtained and the linear appearance of scatter plots.
