There was a trend approaching significance in pure breed cats, which appeared to harbour a greater proportion of zoonotic species ( X 2 (1, N = 44) = 3.73, p = 0.05) in comparison to mixed breed cats.

Using point change in IQ as a dimensional measure, there was a significant correlation with age at seizure onset ( ρ =−0.33, p =0.003), severity scores for non‐spasm seizures in years 1 ( ρ =0.42, p <0.001) and 2 ( ρ =0.25, p =0.02), and a trend approaching significance towards increased tuber load ( ρ =0.22, p =0.05).

In the cohort of patients with dementia, there was a trend approaching significance ( p = 0.052) of decreasing antipsychotic use with increasing age (age 65–74 = 90%; age 75–84 = 71%; age 85 and over = 58%).

A trend approaching significance (χ 2 = 3.74, p = 0.053, Cramer’s V = 0.1) emerged for the number of children with NDs, indicating that families with more than one affected child were more likely to respond (76%) than those with a single child with NDs (62%).

There was a trend approaching significance ( P = 0.053) towards a higher rate of recording of tetanus status in Gustilo grade 3 injuries (16/38 = 42.1%).

In contrast, in the yolk sac at GD15 ( Figure 3 B), treatment with poly(I:C) showed a trend approaching significance towards decreased Il6 expression (GLMM; F (1,30) = 4.00, P =0.055).

It should be noted that A2A7 also showed a trend approaching significance to release the trap door of the recipient’s compartment more on RA ( N = 18) than RP ( N = 11) trials; χ 2 (1, N = 22) = 4.956, p = 0.055.

A trend approaching significance ( p = 0.055) was also identified, showing increased T cells in the sham vagotomy + FPI compared to the vagotomy + sham FPI ( Figure 3 B).

This difference reached statistical significance in LNs (cervical and mesenteric) and gut tissues (colon and ileum), while PBMCs showed a trend approaching significance ( p = 0.057).

Given that this finding was a trend approaching significance ( p = .058), we consider it an important area for future research to explore.

The results for males showed that the sensitivity of the Flanker Task to detect any differences between students with and without disabilities for the RT measure revealed a trend approaching significance for an effect of Disability [ F (1) = 4.142, p = 0.059, η p 2 = 0.206].

Regarding Orienting/regulation, there was a trend approaching significance, suggesting higher scores of mothers than fathers, U = 1314.00, z = −1.89, p = 0.059.

Three of 4 studies revealed a greater prevalence of CACS≥100 in more active subjects, and the fourth study showed a trend approaching significance ( P =0.06, Figure 2 B).

In addition, there was a trend approaching significance ( p < 0.06) suggesting that nonpatients were also marginally significantly more aware of their thinking processes than youth with GAD.

One further study [ 28 ] recorded Tegner activity scale at a much earlier final follow-up of 6 months with a trend approaching significance in favour of early 4.15 ± 1.45 versus delayed surgery 3.72 ± 1.34 ( p = 0.06).

A trend approaching significance was observed between positive p53 expression and tumour portal vein invasion (P = 0.06; Table 1).

Correlation analyses showed that higher trait (STAI-T) and state (STAI-S) anxiety was associated with increased right amygdala activity during explicit fear (EF−EN) (STAI-T: r (41) = 0.41, p = 0.007; STAI-S: r (41) = 0.39, p = 0.012), as well as a trend approaching significance during implicit fear (IF−IN) (STAI-T: r (41) = 0.29, p = 0.06; STAI-S: r (41) = 0.27, p = 0.09).

When the entire study cohort was analysed, there was a trend approaching significance for SIV-infected animals to have a higher absolute number of total B-cells ( P = 0.06) ( Fig. 7c ) and for STLV-infected animals to have a lower number ( P = 0.052).

On examination of the association between mean blood flow in the MCA and Aβ 42 levels in CSF, there was a trend approaching significance; the β coefficient was 0.161 (t[DF137] = 1.867, P = .064) ( Fig. 5 B).

However, when comparing high and low education levels, a trend approaching significance revealed that, as compared with higher educated people, lower educated people were more likely to be in class 3 than class 1 ( p = 0.064).

No individual prior biologic class exposure significantly predicted remission ( Table S1 ), though prior vedolizumab exposure showed a trend approaching significance (OR 7.89, 95% CI, 1.21-156, P = .066) that was not confirmed on multivariable analysis (OR 6.12, 95% CI, 0.45-167, P = .20).

A trend approaching significance was also observed for higher IMAT CSA with double support time (P=0.066).

Subsequent post hoc t-tests revealed a significant difference between groups on the ARAT (p = 0.022) and a trend approaching significance for the JTHFT (p = 0.068).

Similarly, Gabor dominance durations showed a trend approaching significance for being increased in the OT condition compared to the placebo condition ( t (42) = 1.86; p = 0.069; ηp 2 = 0.076; Fig. 2c ).

Although no two groups differed significantly in the rate of SE induction within two injections by pairwise testing, a larger proportion of ORX males (n = 8 of 9) reached SE by three injections compared to both control males (n = 2 of 14; P = 0.004) and control females (n = 2 of 13; P = 0.009), with a trend approaching significance in comparison to OVX females (n = 11 of 18; P = 0.069).
