Within the Roopkund_A group which has ancestry that falls within the variation of present-day South Asians, we observe a weakly significant difference in the proportion of West Eurasian-related ancestry in males and females ( p = 0.015 by a permutation test across individuals; Supplementary Note 8 ), with systematically lower proportions of West Eurasian-related ancestry in males than females.
In the R2A medium, a weakly significant difference in microbial composition between bulk medium and swab samples was observed (ANOVA, p = 0.024).
There is a weakly significant difference in terms of ID50 between these groups (p = 0.024, Wilcoxon test; p = 0.04, ANOVA), such that bacteria that are ingested tend to have a higher ID50 (median 1 000 000 vs 1000 for inhaled and 40 for other routes).
There was additionally a weakly significant difference between the helminth- and species-specific datasets ( p = 0.02759).
bjoerkna , the Kruskal-Wallis H-test followed by multiple comparisons revealed a weakly significant difference in the abundance of only D. sphyrna between B. bjoerkna and hybrids with B. bjoerkna maternal origin (Kruskal-Wallis H-test: H (2, 106) = 6.99, P = 0.03, multiple comparison: P = 0.046).
Instead, we find a weakly significant difference for L int for the cytological data (Fig. 4 D, p = 0.03), whereas converting cytological data from SC space to DNA space using chromosome lengths reported in ref. 55 results in significantly smaller L int for females (Fig. 4 C, p = 10 −6 ).
While PERMANOVA indicates a weakly significant difference between MMR and LMR food feeders ( p = 0.033; Table S1 in Additional file 4 ), we made a post-hoc prediction that this trend was driven by the morphological separation of the Cacatuidae (all of whom are MMR or mixed food feeders) from the other Psittaciformes on PC3.
A weakly significant difference is observed between reads obtained using Methods MDE and P ( P -value = 0.034) ( Table 1 ), consistent with previous observations of systematic differences between DNA preservation in petrous and cementum samples ( Parker et al. 2020 ); however, we also note that the use of a bleach-based decontamination step in the MDE protocol may have contributed to this observed pattern.
• Sarcomere length shows a weakly significant difference (p=0.038) between the whole WT data set and bio rep 1, but no difference between the whole WT data set and the HA<720 group.
There also were no significant differences in Beta-diversity in control subjects <30 or ≥30, but among MS subjects, there was a weakly significant difference (p = 0.04) in Beta-diversity between those <30 or ≥30 (Fig.
Although a weakly significant difference between breakfast skippers and non-skippers was observed in one of the five NAPLAN scales (Numeracy, p = 0.04), the difference between the two groups was less than 3% and unlikely to be of great importance.
Furthermore, there is a comparably small influence of hand on the GSR: when the data for left and right hands was compared separately at each threat there was a weakly significant difference between the hands only at the ‘late’ threat (p = 0.04, Wilcoxon sign rank test Holm Bonferroni corrected for multiple comparisons).
CD3+IFNγ+ cells from RRMS patients proliferated until day 7, with a weakly significant difference observed between exposed and unexposed cells ( p =0.043).
3.1.2 Caste differences THS was different by sex/caste ( p < .001) (Table 2 ) with the greatest difference in queens from workers and males (Table 3 , p < .001) and a weakly significant difference between workers and males ( p = .044).
No decrease with age was found when participants were divided in four different age groups (18–30, 31–40, 41–50, and > 50 years old), with just one exception in the PD1 survey where a weakly significant difference was found between the 18–30 and the 41–50 years old groups ( P = 0.0451, Supplementary Fig.
The two radiotracers showed a weakly significant difference in the lymph node DR, namely the lymph node region resulted positive in 28% (19/69) of [ 18 F]fluciclovine patients ( p = 0.047) and in 15% (10/69) of [ 18 F]fluorocholine patients.
Blastocystis hominis showed only a weakly significant difference in prevalence between the regions when fitted alone with REGION (REGION × INFECTION, χ 2 3 = 7.85, P = 0.049) but was also a component of an interaction with SEX in the minimum sufficient model after initial fitting of all the factors (REGION × SEX × INFECTION, χ 2 3 = 8.17, P = 0.043).
