An increasing trend negatively related to age was observed overall ( p = .002) (Figure S1 ).

In terms of tissue functionality, we observed an increasing trend in contraction amplitude, reflecting the magnitude of contraction, in cmBMTs with time, with a striking increase between day 2 and day 14 ( p = 0.0024) (Fig. 5K ).

Moreover, an increasing trend toward liver steatosis severity was observed in patients with BMI ≥ 25 kg/m 2 (Cochran Armitage trend test = 3; p = 0.0027).

Trend and Subgroup Analysis of the Non-First-Line Antihypertensive Drugs Use According to Table 4 , the overall proportion of non-first-line antihypertensive prescriptions was 2.53%, showing an increasing trend (APC=27.69%, P =0.003).

Analysis of discharge conditions across the period of observation revealed an increasing trend for infectious diseases (ICD10: A00–B99, p =0.003), respiratory diseases (ICD10: J00–J99: p =0.007), genitourinary system (ICD10: N00-N99, p =0.014), as well as symptoms, signs, and abnormal clinical and laboratory findings, not elsewhere classified (ICD10: R00-R99, p = 0.013) see Table 3.

By using stage 1 as a reference, an increasing trend in all-cause mortality is shown in patients with higher stages (stage 2: aHR 1.55, 95% CI 1.17–2.07, P = 0.003; stages 3–4: aHR 2.69, 95% CI 1.92–3.76, P < 0.001), as well as for cardiovascular mortality during a follow-up of 50,895.4 person-years.

Before intervention, the positive density of MDRO in the orthopedic ward showed an increasing trend (β 1 = 0.02, P = 0.003).

However, the proportion of MDSCs among total urinary cells significantly decreased in the non-recurrence group, whereas it did not decrease in the recurrence group and instead showed an increasing trend ( p = 0.003) (Fig. 3 ).
