However, when adjusting for covariates, none of the cohorts of interest were associated with having a statistically significant difference in ADL difficulty, although borderline significance was seen for having stage III/IV difficulty when comparing nAMD vs control (OR, 0.74; 95% CI, 0.54-1.00; P < .05) ( Figure 2 ).
Children with homozygous α-thalassaemia appeared to have longer telomeres than children with normal haemoglobin genotype, but with borderline significance in the main model (lme, Est. = 0.45, SE = 0.23, t=1.95, p=0.05; Table 2 ).
