Moreover, we found a marginally significant group effect on one of the measures of maternal behaviour during mother–infant interaction: mothers of HR infants tended to display sad affect whilst interacting with their infant (M = 3.91, SD = .54), compared to mothers of LR infants (M = 4.27, SD = .46), although the difference was at trend level only ( t = −2.0, p = .058).

Households that plant improved maize seed (either hybrid or OPV varieties), produce significantly more maize than other households that do not (results are marginally significant in column (1) and approach statistical significance in other columns).
For the items violating the repetition regularity, this comparison was significant in the repetition-/ di / condition and marginally significant after Bonferroni correction in the / di /-repetition condition, due to lower rejection rates to these single violation items than to the double violation items.
While the white/Hispanic entropy index was marginally significant and negatively related to mortality, overall, white/Hispanic segregation does not affect all-cause mortality (in models including other covariates).
According to the results of overall meta-analyses and subgroup analyses by ethnicity, type of disease, HWE, and smoking status, no significant association was found between periodontitis susceptibility and polymorphisms IL-4 -590C/T, -1099T/G, and 70-bp VNTR, with the only exception that, in terms of the IL-4 -590C/T polymorphism, Caucasians with TT genotype showed marginally significant trend toward having periodontitis (TT versus CC: OR = 1.54, 95% CI = 0.99–2.41).
Finally, the expression levels of six prognostic genes, UBE2C, TOP2A, RRM2, FOXM1, MKI67 , and BTN3A2 , which are either significant or marginally significant for DMFS in LN−, HR+/HER2− breast cancer, were selected to develop a novel prognostic algorithm to predict the risk of distant metastasis in HR+/HER2− early breast cancer ( Table 4 ).
Income had a marginally significant association with SSB intake; those with an annual household income of <$25,000 (aOR = 1.3, 95% CI: 1.1–1.7, ref ≥ $50,000) and $25,000–$49,999 (aOR = 1.3, 95% CI: 1.1–1.6, ref ≥ $50,000) were more likely to consume SSBs compare to those who had an annual income $50,000 or more.
We discuss these findings in the following but note that given the number of associations examined, marginally significant results should be interpreted cautiously.
Furthermore, the consistency of findings across all available trials based on a common eligibility pathway, coupled with a significant dose–response relationship, provides compelling support, and a strength of evidence that is more persuasive than would be the finding of a positive effect in an isolated dedicated trial with a marginally significant result.
The regression coefficients in this study were marginally significant, suggesting that there are many other factors that are more deeply related to work engagement.
When contrasting LTM hits and LTM misses irrespective of WM performance (WM+/LTM+ > (WM+/LTM− and WM−/LTM−)) for the early stage of WM maintenance, one region in the left dorsolateral prefrontal cortex showed marginally significant activation (local maximum at (−30, 45, 33); p FWE = 0.059; see Figure 4 ; Table 3 ).

Some other variables had marginally significant impact for outcomes in the Cox model ( Table 2 ).
There was a marginally significant difference in BMI between the DPP-4 inhibitor group and the SGLT2 inhibitor group.
Severe drought effects across plant functional groups Among the plant functional groups, trees responded most negatively in terms of their root length to severe drought, and the root mean diameter of the trees were also marginally significant (Fig. 2 ).
Although this may be a routine procedure in the analysis of dose-response relationships, 15 some of the marginally significant summary HR should be interpreted with caution.
One should note that the gamblers had marginally significant increased excitatory effective connectivity from the empathy network to the gambling network ( Pp = 0.88) but reduced inhibitory effective connectivity from the gambling network to the empathy network ( Pp = 0.91), which might contribute to higher activations within the gambling network.
We also found a marginally significant modification effect of AAge on the association between CAge and risk of BPH (Figure S4 ).
Moreover, marginally significant activation in dACC while learning negative information predicted subsequent worsening of impressions about ingroup targets ( vs Fixation baseline), but not outgroup targets ( vs Fixation baseline; see Table 3 ).
The correlation with the creative achievement score was marginally significant.
It is not like they stated that “ negative TCN did not significantly increase relative AAD risk” , negative TCN in fact significantly increases relative AAD risk in the linear function (Table 1), and the exposure-response curve in Figure 4e also presents a marginally significant association in winter in cities without central heating.
HRV increased from the first to second memory in the experiential condition (marginally significant; a small effect size; Cohen, 1992 ) and decreased from the first to the second memory (not significant; a small effect size) in the other two conditions.
Thus, given our directional hypothesis, the difference appears to be at least marginally significant.
