Post-hoc t -tests revealed that in trials with lower levels of eye movements, the attention effects on hit rate were significant at the parafoveal locations (t(27) = 2.74, p = 0.005, one-tailed due to the known direction of the attention effect, Holm–Bonferroni corrected with the threshold of 0.0125) and nearly significant at the peripheral locations (t(27)’s = 1.67–1.71, p’s = 0.049–0.053, one-tailed) but not significant at the foveal locations (t(27) = 0.79, p = 0.218, one-tailed).
However, ours results, showing a nearly significant effect of sympatric versus allopatric(s) combinations and a negative significant relationship between the hatching of juveniles and the geographic distance between nematodes and potatoes, support the hypothesis of a coevolutionary history of G. pallida on wild potatoes.
When the data from each diet are analyzed separately, all nutritional indexes showed a significant (or nearly significant) line effect except soluble protein after rearing on the low-glucose diet and triglycerides after rearing on the high-glucose diet ( Table S1 b), indicating that most traits are genetically variable.
We found positive selection over most of the amino-terminal two-thirds of the coding sequence, interrupted by one region of significant negative selection (mouse codons 208-273), one region of nearly significant negative selection (mouse 410-464), and three short regions without significant selection (Figure 2a ; Table 1 ).
