3B and C ) showed that this increased specificity was driven by a large (but not quite significant) reduction of semantic details over time for P4, P5 and P6 (−33.3, −45.1 and −30.4%, respectively) (average 23.4% reduction, main effect of time F (3,9) = 3.12, P < 0.081, partial η 2 = 0.51).

Our exploratory investigation of the relationship between IDAEP slope and stimulus dynamic range, while not quite significant, alludes to the possibility that there might be a more nuanced relationship to tinnitus; the onset period of tinnitus could, for instance, be associated with increased dynamic range adaptation, which can be considered a horizontal scaling or shift of a neuronal system’s input-output function to match the distribution of input stimulus intensities.
Similar, albeit not quite significant effects were observed in the lateral, basolateral and medial part of the central amygdala (fig. 8 ).
Although the interaction was not quite significant in the pair-wise comparison, we conservatively computed the LNA-5′ versus unmodified pair-wise F -statistic by dividing the LNA pattern mean square by the interaction mean square, as recommended by Sokal and Rohlf ( 34 ) and described in Material and Methods.
Among unselected women the odds ratio is not quite significant (OR = 0.49, 95% CI 0.23–1.06).
A not quite significant difference was observed between the overall mean biperiden dosage in the two groups.

9/13 16/20 35% 69% 80% A x2 test on the figures in Table III showed that the incidence of breast tumours in mice with C57B1 ovaries was significantly lower than in those with C57B1/IF ovaries (P < 0.01), but the difference between those with C57B1 and IF ovaries was not quite significant (P about 0m065).
Zinc gives a coefficient not quite significant at I in 20 level (0-379) and this might be meaningful in view of the evidence for a connection between its concentration in soil and the incidence of cancer of the stomach (Stocks and Davies, 1960).
Although suppression of pp125 FAK cleavage by preincubation with αv-blocking cyclic RGD peptide is a consistent observation, statistical analysis of three quantified experiments reveal that this effect is not quite significant.
Similar changes were obtained for cells prepared with hyaluronidase, but the variation was so large that the stimula- tion by ADH was not quite significant.
A highly significant positive trend in mortality with tumour size in node-negative patients is in contrast to a negative though not quite significant trend in node-positive patients.
This association is not quite significant when using the conservative Bonferroni correction for multiple hypotheses (alpha = 0.0026, see Methods section), but trinucleotide microsatellites are much scarcer than mono- or dinucleotide repeats in the yeast genome (Table 1 ), so statistical power to detect effects on their distribution is lower.
In the present study, high estradiol – even though not quite significant – led to a strong tendency towards decreases in sodium excretion, fractional excretion of sodium and sodium clearance.
However, as described in GLM 1 (Table 2 ) these differences between species are not quite significant.

Our HVA data, though not quite significant, are consistent with Newton and colleagues' [ 9 ] hypothesis that selegiline might decrease the rewarding effects of cocaine by reducing the increase in dopamine release following cocaine administration, although we did not see a rise in basal dopamine availability as they suggest.
For the UV sites, the differences between the reactive and unreactive sites are smaller and are not quite significant for the 8 Å cut-off distance.
