This means that while mortality among HIV-negative men rose slightly (HRR = 1.48; 95%CI: 1.07–2.05), among HIV-positive men, there was evidence of borderline significance to suggest that mortality declined (HRR = 0.72; 95%CI: 0.48–1.06).
