The effect was however, only marginally significant for the proportion of calf slaughter (P = 0.048) and not significant for calf body mass (P = 0.066).

Are studies with broader conclusions associated with higher citation impact ? Overall, generalized articles ( Mean rank = 279.27) were associated with higher impact (normalized citation count) than restricted articles ( Mean rank = 252.90), although the difference was only marginally significant ( U = 31843.00, z =—1.97, p = 0.049, r =—0.10).

Our data also suggest that the subjects who expect a higher response to the action M are more likely to be hump-shaped contributors, however this result is only marginally significant (p-value = 0.049).

Overall differences in genotype distribution between the sexes in the field were only marginally significant ( χ 2 = 6.014, df = 2, p = 0.049) for the common genotypes A, B and C.

In both univariate and multivariable models, males are less likely to be seropositive than females, but the effect is only marginally significant (OR 0.72 95% CI 0.51–1.00, p = 0.049).
