Analysis of fasting C-peptide within each group as a function of time showed a trend toward an increase in function ( P = 0.07) over the first posttransplant month only in the animals that received intraportal islet/MSC.
Another finding was that older adults, in general, showed a trend toward lower P1 amplitudes—especially at the 100 ms SOA ( p < 0.07).
In contrast, the distribution of the MYH9 polymorphism in recipients showed a trend toward higher risk of BPAR (31.6% in CC, 32.4% in CA, 39.3% in AA; p = 0.07) ( Fig. 2A ).
Fluorescence was higher with rAAV2/5 than rAAV2/Rec3 (p = 0.04) and showed a trend of superiority over AAV2/Rec2 (p = 0.07).
Although underpowered to investigate the relationship, the A 1c -Derived Average Glucose (ADAG) study showed a trend ( P < 0.07) toward higher HbA 1c in people of African background, independent of chronic glycemia, which was measured using a combination of continuous glucose monitoring and frequent capillary glucose testing ( 17 ).
Conversely, the Anyplex TM II HPV28 assay showed a trend toward higher detection of HPV31 (5 cases detected only with the Anyplex TM II HPV28 versus 0 cases detected with the Allplex TM HPV28, p = 0.07) and HPV39 (7 cases detected only with the Anyplex TM II HPV28 versus 1 case detected only with the Allplex TM HPV28, p = 0.08).
In the in vitro cell viability assay, anti-miR200b* showed a trend toward enhanced cytotoxicity slightly in cisplatin compared to the negative control (p = 0.07).
The incidence of lameness showed a trend towards being higher when owners used harmful practices in comparison to when they did not, χ 2 = (1, N = 57) = 3.26, p = 0.07.
Compared to WT eyes, rd10 mice showed a trend toward higher ferritin levels (1.5-fold, p = 0.07).
Paired samples t-tests showed that controls had greater alpha power in the right compared to the left hemisphere (t 20 = 2.45, p = .024 ), whereas patients showed a trend for greater alpha power in the left vs. right hemisphere (t 20 = −1.9, p = .07) ( Figure 2C , left panel).
Choosing the unknown object first when making a correct response showed a trend to be more likely with age, ρ(73) = 0.20, p = 0.07.
MR CaMKCre and MR-Tg female mice Both MR CaMKCre female mice and control littermates spent more time in the exit (target) quadrant than in the other quadrants, but MR CaMKCre females showed a trend for longer latency to the exit quadrant compared to their controls (56±15.4 vs 21±9.5; p = 0.070).
At baseline, the mean ABI was higher in the control group ( P = 0.02), and subjects entering the control group showed a trend toward higher scores on avoiding foot-damaging behaviors ( P = 0.07); both these biases would favor better outcomes in the control group.
Triglyceride levels showed a trend towards an increase after recovery only in the EAA group which was also elevated above baseline values (time-by-group, p = 0.070), Figure 1 e.

Pairwise comparisons showed a trend of Q2 > Q4 ( t (84) = 1.82, p = 0.070), which is reminiscent of previous findings ( Helfrich et al., 2018 ), but this result is not robust and should be treated as a negative finding.
