Although the history of diabetes showed a trend ( P = 0.052) and lymphocyte ratio showed a borderline trend ( P = 0.068) in univariable analysis, they were retained in the multivariable model due to their established clinical relevance to kidney injury and immune function, and to allow for comprehensive adjustment of potential confounders.
Multivariable models yielded similar findings: Higher right putamen SRP remained significantly associated with increased MMSE variability and showed a trend toward association with ADAS variability (adjusted p = 0.052).
In analysis of lymphocyte subset, a pattern of NK cell change between before and after CRT showed a trend for the association with nodal response (p = 0.052 by repeated measure analysis) ( Fig. 2 ).
In FST2, 7 days later, swimming behavior showed a trend toward modulation by donepezil dose (one-way ANOVA: F(3, 28) = 2.91; p = 0.052), driven by a mild increase in swimming (relative to vehicle) for the low and medium doses, but a decrease at the high dose (and an inverted u-shaped dose-response curve with our shuffling test; see Table S2 ).
The CS activity showed a trend towards an increase in mutant mice’ brain compared to age-matched controls (Fig. 7 a; Mann–Whitney test, p = 0.052).

Biopsies from patients obtained during discontinuation showed a trend for reduced cortical thickness when compared to treatment-naive biopsies ( p = 0.052).

Although the Mini-Mental State Examination results showed a trend towards a significant score (p = 0.052), values were inside the normal range for both runs (27-30).

A recent phase II trial for patients with residual disease or high-risk pCR after receiving neoadjuvant or postoperative anti-HER2 agents reported that the GP2 vaccine had no significant benefit in DFS in the total population, yet a subset analysis showed a trend toward improved DFS in the HER2+ group that received the GP2 vaccine ( p = 0.052) [ 46 ].
