For the prolonged component of the DA response, a cue × group ANOVA yielded an interaction that was shy of significance ( F 1,25 = 3.52, P = 0.072; Fig. 4D , top), but regressing the difference in the port entry rates between nondegraded and degraded trials against the difference between prolonged signals also revealed a significantly positive relationship (β = 5.90, t 25 = 2.33, P = 0.028; Fig. 4D , bottom).
In contrast, by cosine analysis of group mean values, cortisol was clearly circadian in DD (p = .0059) but the 24-h cosine fit was shy of significance in LD (p = .076) (Table 1 ).
It also feel shy of significance for hyperactivity [b = .06, 95% confidence interval -.01-.13, p = .10, ΔR 2 = .008, total R 2 = .08].
Results Supplementation with EM produced a significant treatment response versus placebo at 1 week (20.5% improvement, P =0.028), but fell shy of significance at 6 weeks post-treatment (22.5% improvement) for the primary outcome measure (CBPI Function), despite a sizeable treatment effect.
We tested whether the lack of significance may be due to insufficient power by combining it with the other immune-mediated diseases that fell shy of significance (asthma, COPD, inflammatory bowel disease, and type 1 diabetes), but the combination of inflammatory diseases still had no significant impact on the risk of ventilation (OR, 1.06; P = .772), even though it included almost twice as many COVID-19 samples as “Any Skin Condition” (460 compared with 251), suggesting the observation is not due to lack of power.
Fezf2 displayed a trend of increased expression but is shy of significance.
However, it is unclear why hysteresis varied across camouflage patterns, in particular why hysteresis should be smaller for irregular circles compared to regular circles (a difference of around 8°; refer figure 7 ), though this was shy of significance when Bonferroni corrected (electronic supplementary material, S7).
While the sample size is adequate for providing a snapshot of diagnostic performance, it often leads to results that are slightly shy of significance.
In submissive mice, however, plasma elevations were significantly less pronounced after repeated than after acute stressor exposure, whereas this difference was shy of significance among dominant mice.
