Also, in the results of the Kiaee team, people with CVID with cancer showed a trend towards a decrease in the percentage of CD8+ T cells [ 29 ].
Excerpts
a notable trendgold
Our study reveals a notable trend; all derivative lines that have been subjected to chronic therapeutic exposure, except for OlapR cells, exhibit a decreased expression of genes associated with cell proliferation and the cell cycle ( Figure 5 A). 3.4.5.
a slight trendgold
The comparison of the RFS between the group treated with ablation therapy during conversion therapy and the liver resection group showed a slight trend toward a longer RFS in the liver resection group, but the difference was not significant (ablation group, 274 days [157–NA]; hepatectomy group, NA days [447–NA]; p = 0.09; Figure S3b ).
Those with homogeneous staining showed a trend toward increased OS.
The results showed a favorable trend in OS in the preoperative CXRT group, although there was no statistically significant difference in either 3-year or 5-year OS rates because of the small number of enrolled patients [ 20 , 21 ].
Introduction Oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) is increasing in importance among head and neck cancer (HNC), as a significant increase in incidence has been observed, whereas head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) has shown a decreasing trend worldwide.
While the incidence of CRC for ≥50 year-old adults showed a favorable trend in recent years, the incidence recently increased in the group of young adults (<50 years-old) in multiple high-income countries [ 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 ].
We achieved the highly significant identification of regulated genes across multiple cell lines either exposed or not to the same drug, and were able to accomplish this using frozen samples from lines harvested at different times.
As shown by our data, we found significantly reduced levels of PLK5 protein in lung, cervical, ovarian, and fallopian tube cancers, and a decreasing trend towards significance in endometrial and testicular cancer tissues ( Figure 2 B).
Over the past few years, we have observed an increasing trend of publications on radiomic approaches in oncology [ 11 ], especially for predicting diagnosis [ 12 , 13 , 14 ] and treatment response [ 15 , 16 , 17 , 18 , 19 ], as well as tumor molecular profiles [ 20 , 21 ].
could be considered significantqualified
reported that arachnoid invasion and higher Ki-67 could be considered significant risk factors for recurrence [ 29 ].
A quantitative analysis of the number of fluorescent pixels showed a trend towards a higher number of functional vessels in the orthotopic tumours compared to the subcutaneous tumours ( Figure 6 c).
a slight trendgold
A slight trend towards higher levels of these cell populations was seen in the subcutaneous tumours.
Only a trend towards significance was observed in the BCR::ABL1 pos subgroup.
The most recent available data from a systematic review and meta-analysis of 80 studies from the Eastern Mediterranean Region (including Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, and the UAE) reported a pooled ASR of 37.1 per 100,000 person-years (95% confidence interval (CI), 34.5, 39.8) during 2011–2019 and an increasing trend between 2005 and 2019.
Despite using forward and backward stepwise selection, we failed to develop a multivariable logistic regression model with more than one statistically significant variable, probably due to multiple, highly significant interdependencies between the analyzed factors, as demonstrated in the Spearman’s rank correlation analysis ( Table S2 ).
We showed an association of the EASIX, s-EASIX, and a trend towards significance for the m-EASIX calculated at pre-LD with ICANS grade ≥ 2, although the predictive performance of these scores is only moderate.
All patients harboring ERBB mutations exhibited disease control and showed a trend of higher DCR than those with the ERBB wild type, although it was not statistically significant (100% vs. 60%, p = 0.068).
In addition, we performed GSEA on all primary tumor foci from African-American and White patients controlling for Gleason score ( Supplementary Table S10 ) and found that oxidative phosphorylation was highly significant (FDR < 2.2 × 10 −16 ) along with the interferon alpha response, UV response, adipogenesis, mitotic spindle, and estrogen response.
The results of this research suggest an increasing trend in the prevalence of melanoma, a very vulnerable form of skin cancer, among other kinds of skin cancer.
Performing Cox regression analysis using variables from Brunelli et al.’s Eurolung2 model and sarcopenia, sarcopenia and extended resection showed a trend towards significance for five-year survival ( Table 3 ).
On the contrary, clusterin displayed an increasing trend under the ORG medium.
a positive trendgold
Multivariable analysis found no significant impact on tumor response (pCR, TRG1-2) or downstaging for the different dose levels, although a positive trend was observed for doses ≥ 55 Gy.
a clear trendgold
Despite the general trend of male predominance [ 28 , 30 ], given the highly debatable association between gender and tongue cancer and the scarcity of valid statistics reflecting trends, specifically in Muslim countries, it is even more challenging to establish a clear trend in tongue cancer regarding gender.
While the field has a foundational comprehension of KLF9 and KLF13 expression and overall actions in cancer cell lines, there are likely to be significant, as yet unknown, variations in the cognate DNA sequence elements that subserve KLF9 and KLF13 actions in normal, pre-cancerous, and cancerous cells of different tissues [ 60 ].
