We found that for the five crops, the linear regression model between the yield of the untreated control and the yield response (%) showed a negative trend; however, it was only significant (p <0.05) for barley, maize, and wheat ( Figure 2 ).
angustifolium exhibited a decreasing trend under mild, moderate and severe NaCl stress, a 79% decrease in leaf width under severe stress after 15 days.
As the gradient of salt treatment concentration increased and the prolongation of the stress time, the degree of growth restriction of each organ of the plant showed a trend of gradual increase, which was similar to the results of this study.
T6 had the highest organic matter content (24.18 ± 1.01 g·kg −1 ) among all treatments, which also showed a highly significant effect of organic inputs on soil organic matter, and the presence of sheep manure increased it to a greater extent than in other organic and inorganic combinations.
The expression follows a decreasing trend as the organic amendments are increasing, suggesting that bacterial ammonia oxidizers are most stimulated in the presence of inorganic nitrogen sources.
Out of 26 root and shoot traits evaluated, 16 traits (13 root and three shoot traits) showed highly significant differences among genotypes, with coefficient of variation (CV) values ≥0.25 ( Wang et al., 2021 ).
Operating the model under default parameters as outlined in the AquaCrop manual ( Raes et al., 2012 ), the results exhibited a clear trend of overestimation, with the RMSE ranging from 9.56 to 24.18 mm, corresponding to 9.6%–24.2% of the total available water.
Under the same irrigation quota, for the W1 treatment, the total phosphorus content in potato stems showed an increasing trend with the increase of nitrogen application rate; while for the W2 and W3 treatments, it first increased and then decreased.
Under the same nitrogen application rate, with the increase of irrigation quota, the total phosphorus content in potato stems also showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing.
Among them, the U 1 treatment resulted in the highest biomass and plant height, which significantly exceeded those of the O 1 treatment by 18.11% and 6.78%, respectively (P< 0.05), and showed a decreasing trend with increasing proportion of organic nitrogen.
According to ( Figure 7b ), the C/N ratios between the soil layers exhibit a highly significant positive correlation (*), with correlation coefficients (greater than 0.8) that are higher than those on sunny slopes.
Each plot exhibited a continuous increase in species number over time, leading to a more diversified species composition, while the artificially established vegetation showed a trend of degradation. 3.2.
When C/N > 25, the organic matter accumulation rate exceeds the decomposition rate ( Bui and Henderson, 2013 ), and the soil carbon pool shows an increasing trend.
Effects of different seeding rates on the 1000-grain weight and seed setting rate of primary and secondary branches in direct-seeded rice As the seeding rate increased from S45 to S135, the 1000-grain weight of primary and secondary branches for both main stems and tillers in direct-seeded rice exhibited a decreasing trend, following the order of S45 > S75 > S105 > S135 ( Figures 4A, B ).
In contrast, leaf surface wax content, MDA, proline, soluble sugars, soluble proteins, as well as the activities of SOD, CAT, and POD displayed an increasing trend.
Additionally, the stem lodging index demonstrated an increasing trend with higher seeding rates, following the order of S135 > S105 > S75 > S45 ( Figure 6C ). 3.7.
