After adding FA pretreatment, the FA+ H 2 O 2 group exhibited a decrease in the protein abundance of nuclear NRF2 and an increasing trend in mTOR protein abundance ( Figure 9 ). 2.9.

In the pioglitazone versus Vitamin E versus Placebo for the Treatment of Non-Diabetic Patients with Nonalcoholic Steatohepatitis (PIVENS) trial, despite the fact that pioglitazone did not have any benefit in the primary outcome over the placebo, it was associated with a highly significant inflammation reduction, hepatocellular ballooning, and reduction in steatosis, and lower IR and liver enzyme levels [ 147 ].

Carriers of the minor allele of one mutation of MACROD2 reduced the risk of obesity and showed a trend toward a lower risk of BMI.

In the present study, the expression level of MnCTSB-l in gills showed an increasing trend under alkali stress at concentrations of both 5 mmol/L and 10 mmol/L, indicating that MnCTSB-l is involved in immune responses under alkali stress conditions.

Total white blood cell (WBC) counts, indicative of significant inflammatory processes, increased significantly ( p < 0.05) in all DSS-exposed groups, with slightly non-significant higher counts in the non-treated group, compared to the f-hPSCs IP-injected mice ( Figure 2 C).
