Where significant differences exist, the magnitude of the R-statistic (0, no significant differences; 1, differences highly significant) was used to ascertain the extent to which the catch compositions of a priori groups differed.

During the first 24 hours after hospital admission, although there were no statistically significant differences in medication utilization both singly and in combination in relation to the number of CVD comorbidities previously diagnosed, there was a decreasing trend in the proportion of patients who received effective cardiac medications as the number of cardiac comorbidities increased ( Table 2 ).

In-Hospital Clinical Complications During hospitalization, although there were no statistically significant differences with regards to the risk of developing important clinical complications in relation to the number of CVD comorbidities, there was an increasing trend in the development of heart failure (from 11% to 18%), and recurrent angina (4% to 7%) as the number of CVD comorbidities increased ( Table 2 ).

However, there was a strong trend towards inverse correlation between PD-1H levels and absolute CD4 counts ( Fig. 5c ).

On the other hand, the activation/exhaustion marker PD-1 showed good correlation with PD-1H levels on monocytes for CD4 T cells whereas there was only a trend towards significance for CD8 T cells.

However, highly significant differences between the microbial assemblages of each individual FC were also detected (ANOSIM R>0.9 in 6 of the 10 FC pairwise comparisons, and p consistently <0.05; Table 2 ).

Two-way crossed ANOSIM confirmed this observation with (marginally significant) global R values <0.2, indicating that the different sampling zones and each FC could not clearly be separated [38] .

Discussion While previous work has shown a strong trend for HGT between parasitic species and host species [4] , [5] , [6] , [7] , [8] , the findings presented here are the first known instances of HGT between a parasitoid species and host species.

The first (63.2%) was found in the youngest women (≤35 years), followed by a decreasing trend until the age of 55–60 years (31.1%).

In addition, the K:L ratios in L ev +K hybrid co-cultures also showed a decreasing trend, implying that the L ev strains became dominant in the hybrid co-cultures.

In contrast, another study recently presented at the ASH meeting involving 603 NPM1 -mutated patients with intermediate risk karyotype showed a trend towards a longer OS in rare type versus type A NPM1 mutations [5] .

There was however a borderline significant time-by-treatment interaction for body weight due to a small but non-significant 0.49 kg increase in the placebo group that was observed only in the adjusted model ( Table 3 ).

However, pooling data for multiple mature follicle cycles showed a trend of increased pregnancy rate in the GnRH-ant group compared to the control group (OR = 1.87; 95% CI, 0.27–12.66), although the small number of studies included do not allow for any conclusions.

Under this backdrop, an increasing trend of flooding events resulting from extreme precipitation can be observed in recent years [7] .

It was a notable trend toward better survival in patients with lower ERS2 levels in their non-tumor tissue samples, suggesting a possible lower expression/longer survival association.
