The changes in the CHI activity in both the skin and flesh of CHR and CHL exhibited a similar profile, with an increasing trend before and at T8 ( Figure 5 B).

However, the northern region of the UBD experiences a lesser influence from the Helan Mountains, with an overall trend of sand transport towards the east.

Discussion In our study, we found that the fresh biomass showed a decreasing trend in the aquaponic system compared to the hydroponic system ( Table 2 ).

However, during the culture process, the DNA methylation level showed a decreasing trend, and the DNA methylation content of the cucumber was significantly lower than that of kale.

Correlations Between Organic Acid Metabolism and Sugars During the Development and Maturation of Cerasus humilis Fruits As Cerasus humilis fruits develop and mature, both the total acid and malic acid exhibit highly significant positive correlations with all sugar components and total sugar across fruits of different acidity levels.

In contrast, the proportion of citric acid and oxalic acid content exhibited a decreasing trend, with higher levels observed in the earlier stages compared to the later stages.

The content of active calcium did not display a clear trend, with the highest levels observed at the late hard seed stage and relatively lower levels at the fully ripe stage.

The proportion of sorbitol showed a trend of initially increasing followed by a decrease, with proportions at the fully ripe stage being 7.86% and 7.46%, respectively, making it the lowest among the sugars ( Figure 5 ).

The study area experienced an overall trend of increasing humidity.

At the same time, we observed a decreasing trend of δ 13 C with altitude ( Figure 1 and Figure 2 ) in accordance with that described in the literature [ 4 , 25 ].

Specifically, Leaf_N.P demonstrated a highly significant positive correlation with Leaf_C.P, whereas Litter_C.N displayed a highly significant positive correlation with Litter_C.P.

Thus, soluble solids and major sugars generally showed an increasing trend with the developmental stage. 2.2.

Another fact supporting the idea of strong photoinhibition induced by the experimental treatment is that the chlorophyll fluorescence signal showed a slightly increasing trend in KK (while actinic light was switched on—see an arrow in Figure 1 , subplot B) and even increased when the actinic light was switched off (marked with an asterisk).
