No significant effect of empagliflozin on leukocyte and platelet count was found, whereas a highly significant increase in red blood cell count was detected (β-estimate: 0.29 (95% CI 0.20–0.38), P < 0.0001).
WT T cell speeds, we find a 5% reduction in cell speed, yet the result is highly significant with p<0.0001; and a 1.8% increase in migration angle, with p = 0.0144.
Frequency of FLT3/ITD in patients with normal karyotype (NK) was 21%, while none of the patients with abnormal karyotype showed this mutation, difference being highly significant ( P < 0.0001).
There was a highly significant difference between the sizes of eggs of female 1 (1.000 ± 0.083 mg) and female 3 (t = -3.84; p = 0.0001).
The analysis revealed highly significant differences for all three parameters ( p < 0.0001), confirming that the type of plant extract used in FeNP synthesis had a substantial impact on catalytic performance ( Table 6 ).
HDL-C Patients that died had a highly significant lower serum HDL-C on day 1 of ICU admission (p < 0.0001, meta-analysis t-distribution) with a pooled mean difference of −7.06 mg/dL (95% CI −9.21 to −4.91 mg/dL) across 17 studies with 1542 participants 17 , 20 , 22 , 31 , 32 , 34 , 36 , 37 , 40 , 41 , 43 , 45 , 46 , 47 , 48 , 50 , 51 ( Fig. 3 ).
These data indicate overall higher sST2 concentrations in males than females, which is highly significant after adjusting for age (effect estimate 49% lower in women [95% CI 42% to 55%], p<0.0001) ( Table 1 ).
As expected, treatment with cisplatin-induced a highly significant reduction of tumor volume ( p < 0.0001).
Although a statistical comparison of these two subgroups was not included in the original paper, we performed this comparison using data provided in the manuscript, which was statistically highly significant (Fisher’s exact test; p = 0.0001).
Otherwise, our shuffled genes would not show the highly significant statistical association in amino-acid divergence K a we observe between sequence domain pairs (Figure 5 ; Pearson's r 0.47, Spearman's s 0.45, P < 0.0001 for both).
(1989), in the only other report examin- ing the relationship between SPF and c-erbB-2 expression in infiltrating tumours, found a highly significant (P=0.0001) association between c-erbB-2 and high SPF using Chi- squared analysis, but did not report a correlation coefficient.
Correlations between independent measurements of Lim3A transcripts were highly significant across the 16 lines in both embryos (P<0.0001) and in heads (P = 0.0074), strengthening reliability of the results.
The overall model was highly significant, with an exceptionally low p-value ( p < 0.0001) and a high F-statistic (F = 95.87).
A PERMANOVA on unweighted UniFrac distances for replicate samples stored in RNAlater revealed that individual horse was highly significant (F 29,65 = 2.55, r 2 = 0.67, p < 0.0001) and day of sampling less so when controlling for individual horse (F 6,65 = 2.55, r 2 = 0.06, p = 0.0334).
Satisfaction and Perceptions of Quality and Patient Safety Course and Implemented Activities A pre–post analysis of 51 students’ responses using the McNemar test revealed a highly significant positive change in their perceptions towards the quality and patient safety course ( p < 0.0001).
We have also investigated the correlation between AD and early signs of age-related macular degeneration in a subset of participants of the AIBL cohort, and found a highly significant association with AD diagnosis ( p < 0.0001); the reason for this association is unclear [ 151 ] and warrants further investigation.
