This finding was not anticipated prior to the study, and the difference between the HFA and control groups was highly significant ( p <0.0004).
Excerpts
This difference is highly significant (p<.0004, Fisher’s exact test, two-tailed); furthermore, the sole novel nonsynonymous variant detected in an African-American POAG case ( Table 3 ) was not predicted to be pathogenic.
As shown in Figure 4 B, those patients with score 2 showed a highly significant poorer survival than those patients with score 0 or 1 in the Kaplan–Meier analysis ( p = 0.0004 and p = 0.0040, respectively).
The rMED score showed a highly significant positive linear correlation with “understanding of diabetes” ( p = 0.0004).
We found within each section highly significant volume reductions in depressed compared to controls (Input p = 0.0004 (eta 2 = 0.07), Middle p = 0.0002 (eta 2 = 0.09) and Output p = 0.0004 (eta 2 = 0.06)) suggesting that MDD impacts each part of the central circuit pathways across the hippocampus.
Intriguingly, however, we observed a modest, yet highly significant positive correlation between FBXW7 and MYC expression, exclusively in the Luminal A-subtype of breast cancers (rho=0.28, p=0.0004) (Figure 4A ).
We noted a significant trend (p = 0.0004) across MC1R risk categories with tendency to burn: Hispanic individuals in the medium (OR: 3.4, 95% CI: 1.2–9.2; p = 0.017) and high (OR: 8.4, 95% CI: 2.5–28; p = 0.0005) MC1R risk categories were more likely to report skin that burned (including sunburn without blistering and severe burning with blistering) compared to those in the low MC1R risk category.
The conditional sums of squares of E a estimates revealed highly significant interspecific differences in the temperature dependency of both GP max ( F = 4.4; P -value = 0.0004) and NP max ( F = 8.4; P -value < 0.0001).
Vgll3 -mediated effect on age-specific mortality rate A survival assay revealed reduced lifespan in vgll3 Ex1/Ex1 mutants, highly significant in males and with a more modest effect in females (log-rank: males, p = 0.0004, −15% in median lifespan; females, p = 0.044, −7% in median lifespan, Fig. 5d ).
Over the finishing period (10–22 weeks of age), there was a highly significant difference between both vaccinated groups and the NC group ( p = 0.0004), but not between the PCVM and FLEX groups (see Table 4 ).
Outcomes Symptom Scores Improved by Healing Pre- and post-treatment scores are summarized as median (interquartile ranges) in Table 2 , which shows changes that were highly significant statistically (all P < 0.0004) towards improvement during the study period.
2 in which differences between the curves, estimated by log-rank test, are statistically highly significant ( p < 0.0004).
A highly significant positive correlation between the percentage reduction of ceramide synthesis and PASI score was observed (r=0.967, p =0.0004), as shown in Fig. 1 .
Self-reported engagement in muscle-strengthening exercise showed a similar pattern, with highly significant differences at all three follow-up times (p=0·0004, p=0·0004, and p=0·0006).
The association was found to be statistically highly significant (p = 0.0004).
For the primary motor outcome, the MDS-UPDRS Part III, the LMM revealed a highly significant main effect of Time (F(2,36) = 9.54, p = 0.0004), indicating overall motor improvement in both treatment groups.
Compared with the placebo arm, there is highly significant heterogeneity in the BC arm data amongst the three subgroups of A to C, which are categorised by the intake of vitamin C and fruit and vegetables ( P = 0·0004), but no evidence of heterogeneity in the AT and AT + BC arms.
The univariate CLM indicates that predator identity of Tyto alba rather than Mustela putorius has a negative (–2.27) and highly significant ( P = 0.0004) influence on the extent of crown corrosion alone (AIC = 123.71).
The sexual difference was highly significant (P=0.0004, by one-way ANOVA).
As shown in Figure 1a , the difference in overall distribution of tetramer positivity was highly significant between groups ( P <0.0004) and, with two exceptions, all the VNTR III/x subjects were at or near background levels of tetramer detection.
The ER expression of adenomyotic foci in relation to functional and nonfunctional ovarian cysts was statistically highly significant ( p =0.0004).
Subsequent PCR- based HPV typing using type - specific primers revealed 32% were infected with HPV type 16 whereas 6% were found to be positive for HPV type 18, while in BPH controls only 5% of the BPH controls were infected with HPV 16 and this difference was highly significant (p = 0.0004).
There was no difference in the slopes ( P = 0.58), but the difference in elevation was highly significant ( P = 0.0004), indicating that WT and M/Mt-CK −/− hearts do not share the same relationship for d P /d t max versus heart rate, but instead run in parallel (i.e. for any given heart rate, d P /d t max is lower in M/Mt-CK −/− hearts).
The difference in specific binding was highly significant (p = 0.0004).
However, since significant terms were highly significant ( p <0.0004 in all cases) and non-significant terms were highly non-significant ( p >0.1259 in all cases), there is no ambiguity in the results.
