CONCLUSION In a review of 18 studies examining relationships between circulating galectin-3 and HFpEF diagnosis, diastolic dysfunction severity, incident HFpEF, or all-cause mortality/rehospitalization, 16 found statistically significant associations and 2 found borderline non-significant associations that are nevertheless of clinical interest.
