Although this result meets only borderline significance ( P = .054), the clinical implication of a greater than 50% increased risk of operative mortality cannot be dismissed.

In our cohort, patients with low TSR (≤50%) had longer survival than those with high TSR (>50%), with borderline significance for DFS ( p = 0.054) and a significant difference for OS (median = 37 vs. 20 months; p = 0.001).

Multivariate Logistic Regression Analysis for EFI In Model 1 (adjusted for age and lactate), ICG-PDR ≤ 18%/min had borderline significance (OR = 3.047, p = 0.054).

This GLMM-based sensitivity analysis aligns closely with the primary results, reinforcing a non-significant early trend and a stronger long-term protective effect against radiological progression, with the 60-month finding achieving statistical significance in the OR model ( p < 0.001) compared to borderline significance in the RR model ( p = 0.054).

In addition, variables such as osteoporosis showed borderline significance ( p = 0.054), suggesting a potential association with ecchymosis that may require validation in larger cohorts.

Maternal breast complications showed borderline significance (p=0.054), while facility ownership (p=0.542), mixed feeding (MF) (p>0.900) and growth failure (p=0.620) were not significantly associated with transmission in unadjusted analyses.

As indicated in Table I , high protein expression levels of MTA1 were significantly correlated with the size of the tumor (P=0.030) and lymph node metastasis (P=0.021), whereas no significant differences were detected among the protein expression levels of MTA1 on the basis of the patients' gender (P=0.758), age (P=0.204), histological subtypes (P=0.351), differentiation (P=0.978), pleural invasion (P=0.819) and pathological stage (P=0.054, which may be considered borderline significance).

The proportions of low LDL-C values under the 5 th percentile differed significantly in NS/LAH compared to PTPN11 mutated patients (p=0.044), with borderline significance in NS compared to NS/LAH patients (p=0.054) ( Table 3 ).

However, differentiation (quitting fraction) tended to be higher in lobule 3 (41.5 %) compared to 7 (34.1 %), with borderline significance ( p = 0.0541, Fig. 4d , Additional file 1 : Table S3).

As shown in figure 2 , the expression levels of these markers in the non-cancerous parts were significantly higher in HCC patients with poorer prognosis except for miR-432, in which only borderline significance was observed ( P = .055) ( Fig. 2C , to the right).
