Correlation between glucose reduction and other glucoregulatory hormones Finally, when investigating correlations between water-induced change in fp glucose (baseline—6 weeks) and change in other glucoregulatory hormones, we found that the water-induced change in fp glucose was significantly associated with water-induced change in fp cortisol, while there were borderline significant correlations between change in fp glucose and change in fp ACTH and 120 min insulin respectively (Table 3 ).
These associations, however, were unadjusted, and were only borderline significant in both cohorts, and might therefore be false positive. However, in two subsequent studies, one in 29 obese patients with T2DM and one in 68 normolipidemic healthy subjects, it was also found that carrying at least one minor G allele of rs2281279 was associated with a significantly lower (postprandial) triglycerides levels [ 8 , 10 ].
A candidate SNP analysis of the NOPHO cohort identified a significant association between VTE and F11 rs2036914 (hazard ratio (HR) 1.52, 95%CI 1.11–2.07), a borderline significant association with FGG rs2066865 (HR 1.37, 95%CI 0.99–1.91) but no association with either ABO rs8176719 or F5 rs6025 [ 17 ].
Associations between ASM exposure, epilepsy PRS, and child neurodevelopmental outcomes We investigated the differences in central tendency and distribution between the valproate exposed group and comparison groups and found a borderline significant difference between the valproate and lamotrigine/levetiracetam groups for motor difficulties at three years (difference in location of −0.74 [CI: −1.48– (−4.3*10 −6 )]; p ≈ 0.03; Figure S2).
