DISCUSSION The salient findings of our study are as follows: (1) at a simulated intraocular pressure of 50 mmHg, there is a statistically significant difference in total volume of egressed fluid from the silicone tube with one versus two fenestration(s); (2) there is no significant difference if simulated IOP is 40 mmHg or less (the 40 mmHg group was very close to being statistically significant with a P -value of 0.08); (3) in the opening pressure trials, the second fenestration opened at a pressure of 28.83 ± 5.09 mmHg.
When the variables were dichotomized, both cycles <6 (HR=1.372, 95% CI=0.957–1.967, P =0.085) and TAC >42 days (HR=1.415, 95% CI=0.964–2.077, P =0.076) were close to being statistically significant predictors of OS but not PFS (Model 3).
Notably, while the variants identified by the logistic could appear as potential false positives since neither of them were even close to being statistically significant in other models, one (rs34962991) is associated with TMEM150B , which has relevance to estradiol metabolism since it has previously been associated with menopausal age [ 36 , 37 ].
We have also attempted to establish aging-related differences at the phosphoproteome level, particularly in regards to mitochondrial processes (see figure below), but only GOcc: mitochondrion and GObp: mitochondrial transport come close to being statistically significant (raw p-values of 0.05 and 0.08, respectively) in the control comparison.
