The pattern was very similar to our finding on K score: the real rTMS group showed significant or marginally significant increase in amplitudes of CDAs for the conditions with distractors (2T2D condition: t = −2.792, p = .042 for 300–900 ms, t = −2.007, p = .059 for 1300–1900 ms; 2T2Dretrocue condition: t = −2.051, p = .059 for 300–900 ms, t = −2.525, p = .042 for 1300–1900 ms), but not for the conditions without distractors (all p s > .05).
There was also a marginally significant main effect of Face Ethnicity, F (1, 78) = 4.29, p = 0.042 η 2 p = 0.01; the European Face’s Eyes and Nose were examined for a greater percent of time (mean dwell time = 28.0%) than those of the African Face (mean dwell time = 25.5%).
Our Mantel tests showed a marginally significant result ( r = 0.074; p = 0.042), indicating Hyacinth macaws follow an IBD model (Figure S5 ). 4.
While this effect was not significant within groups ( glm for dark/light: z = 1.608, p = 0.108; and narrow/wide: z = 0.946, p = 0.344), it was marginally significant when data from both weak preference trials were pooled ( lme: z = 2.034, p = 0.042).
Similarly, the sensitivity analysis of the factors affecting resistance rates also confirmed that there was no significant temporal changes for all Acinetobacter isolates and when considering ACB isolates only (the temporal trend was marginally significant for ACB with P = 0.042; Additional file 1 : Table S1), and that the North East region had higher rates on average than other regions (resistance rates in the sensitivity analyses ranging from 1.0 to 11.1 and 0 to 24.0% for ACB isolates).
1 This study achieved the first proof of concept of epigenetic cancer risk diagnosis in any type of cancer but, due to the short follow-up period, a relatively small number of events were observed, resulting in a marginally significant difference (p=0.042).
