In addition, very recent meta-analysis, paradoxically, showed a significant increase in the risk of myocardial infarction and an increase in cardiovascular death of borderline significance with rosiglitazone, a member of PPAR γ agonists that is widely used as antidiabetic agent [ 49 ].

In consequence, the association between increased confidence and previous Indigenous experience was no longer statistically significant (aRR 0.86, 95% CI 0.73–1.01), and the association between the outcome and rural Australian origin was of borderline significance (aRR 0.83, 95% CI 0.68–1.00).
Comparing highest versus lowest HbA 1c quartiles and adjusting for age, race, sex, weight, and height, strength was significantly lower (−4.70 ± 2.30 N · m; P value trend = 0.02) and results were unchanged after adjustment for physical activity ( P value trend = 0.045) but of borderline significance after additional adjustment for peripheral neuropathy ( P value trend = 0.05).
Primary Outcome: Pain Intensity Following a 4-week intervention period, all exercise modalities demonstrated varying degrees of pain intensity reduction in comparison to the control group, with three of them showing statistically significant reductions, and one exhibiting an effect of borderline significance.
