Similarly, the present untargeted metabolomics analysis, which was conducted on plasma collected at 56 DIM without parity stratification, outlined scarcely significant ( p > 0.05) but consistent metabolic shifts, particularly in sphingolipid intermediates, oxidative stress markers, and steroid hormones, that are not always detectable through conventional biochemical assays.
