Univariate analysis showed a trend toward better recovery in younger patients (< 30 years) (odds ratio [OR] = 7.90, 95% CI: 0.970–64.174, p = 0.053), but this association was no longer statistically significant after adjusting for confounding factors ( p = 0.218).
Beta diversity compositional analysis using PERMANOVA with 999 permutations showed no significant differences in Bray–Curtis dissimilarity index (p-value=0.121), Weighted Unifrac (p-value=0.271), Unweighted Unifrac (p-value=0.300), and Aitchison distance (p-value=0.132), while the Jaccard index showed a trend (p-value=0.053).
In patients who were given chemotherapy, high LAIR-1 expression showed a trend of shorter patient survival (HR = 1.0, 95% CI 0.8–1.6, p = 0.053: Figure 4 A).
Importantly, while the improvement in LDL-C and HDL-C did not differ significantly between genotype groups—suggesting that the beneficial effects of aquatic HIIT on these lipids are largely independent of ACE I/D polymorphism—post-intervention lipid profiles revealed genotype-dependent patterns: adjusted mean TG levels were significantly lower in the ID/DD group compared to the II group ( p = 0.000), and HDL-C levels showed a trend toward being higher in the ID/DD group ( p = 0.053).
Total daily energy intake was not different between genotypes in either sex, although males showed a trend towards reduced daily (24 h) energy intake ( p = 0.053).
The cytokine‐linked hematopoietic signaling in cancer pathways profile showed a trend toward lower scores in TgAD rats relative to WT (F (1,24) = 4.136, p = 0.053, η p 2=0.147), with no sex effect or interaction (Fs (1,24) ≤ 0.129, ps ≥ 0.723; Fig. 1 D).
The estimated means for ARR showed a trend of significativity among the 3 groups, with value of 0.001 for patients on OCR, 0.308 for patients on RTX, and 0.500 for patients on CLA ( p = 0.053).
However, the ΔAUC of insulin (Figure 4B ) showed a trend ( P = 0.053) towards a lower ΔAUC after administration of sucrose compared to the glucose solution (−21.4% ± 2.3%, ΔAUC glucose 2577 ± 278 and ΔAUC sucrose 2024 ± 219).
Notably, Imeglimin + Metformin showed a trend toward HbA1c reduction versus control (p=0.053), while Imeglimin monotherapy did not differ significantly from control.
In analyses of the correlation of mutation status of CTNNB1 and efficacy of meloxicam treatment, mutation status showed a trend to associate with efficacy (p = 0.053, Table 2 ).
For ELISA, the dementia group showed a trend of lower Aβ1-42/Aβ1-40 (0.051 ± 0.021 vs. 0.062 ± 0.022, p = 0.053) and higher t-Tau (594 ± 502 vs. 313 ± 145, p = 0.028) and p181Tau (81 ± 46 vs. 56 ± 22, p = 0.034) than the MCI group.
The combination therapy showed a trend towards longer time without cancer recurrence compared to monotherapy (with a hazard ratio for recurrence or death being 0.561 [95% CI 0.309–1.017]; p = 0.053), and fewer patients experienced cancer recurrence or death (22% in the combination group vs. 40% in the monotherapy group).
Lymphovascular invasion (LVI) and pN1 showed a trend toward poor DFS (LVI, p=0.053; pN1, p=0.059).
The repeated measures ANOVA for HRF showed a trend for the main effect of Time, F (1, 52) = 3.91, p = 0.053, η p a r t i a l 2 = 0.07, indicating an increase in heart rate after stress in both groups.
Patients treated with combination therapy showed a trend toward a longer PFS if an irAE was documented [9.7 months vs. 7.1 months, (HR, 0.50; 95% CI, 0.25–1.02; P = 0.053); Fig. 1 c].
However, the cognitive defect level, and scores of SA showed a trend of correlation ( r = .137, P = .053).
Notably, estriol use during radiotherapy showed a trend toward reducing subjective vaginal dryness (r=–0.297, p =0.053), highlighting its potential role in mitigating vaginal toxicity.
IGF1R gene copy number was a highly negative prognostic marker for all NSCLC patients (p = 0.037), but was even more significant in males (p = 0.015) than in females (p = 0.021).Finally, a high IGF-1 expression showed a trend as a negative prognostic marker in males (p = 0.053) but not for the whole cohort population.
Medium and small body size were not significantly associated with NT after adjustment, although medium-sized dogs again showed a trend (OR = 1.42, 95% CI: 0.99–2.05, p = 0.053).
We discovered that primary AML samples harboring activating signaling mutations in FLT3, MLL, and KRAS showed a trend toward increased CD37 internalization frequency ( P = .053) compared with those without signaling mutations 8 , 36 ( Figure 2 C).
However, the proportion of patients enrolled into NHIF at diagnosis showed a trend to be higher in period 2 (39.8% vs. 59.0%; p = .053).
Unadjusted analyses using the median cut point showed that the low HIF1α expression was significantly associated with better LRC [HR (95% CI) = 0.58 (0.38–0.89), P = 0.011] as well as OS [HR (95% CI) = 0.62 (0.42–0.91), P = 0.016], and showed a trend towards improved PFS [HR (95% CI) = 0.69 (0.47–1.01), P = 0.053, Fig. 2a–c ].
Patients who ingested larger amounts of pesticides (100–300 cc) showed a trend toward higher AKI incidence (41.3% vs 34.1%, p = 0.053).
In a two-way mixed-effect ANOVA on d-prime and criterion, there was no significant main effect for “Perturbation” or any interaction between “Perturbation” and “Hemifield” in both monkeys (in M2, the interaction for the criterion showed a trend, F(1, 12) = 4.59, p = 0.053, see Suppl.
General ambulatory activity was also assessed during the task ( Figure 3C ), and although Nf1 OPG mice showed a trend toward being less active than WT controls (p = 0.053), the differences were not significant ( Table S3 for all ANOVA effects).
