The analysis revealed several key findings: (1) The overall quantity of publications related to OHRB research has been steadily increasing since 1988, and the mean total local citations per publication show a positive trend, indicating an increase in the average citation impact of OHRB research over time.
In contrast, a decreasing trend was found for some health-associated species including Lactobacillus johnsonii and Bifidobacterium longum in the CRC/non-T2D samples and Butyricicoccus pullicaecorum in both CRC patients with/without T2D combined, which highlight the potential importance of health-associated species for human gut health.
Similarly, the number and abundance correlation of shared microbes between colostrum and squab feces exhibited a decreasing trend, with the number of shared genera diminishing from 82 to 68 and the abundance correlation declining from 0.922 to 0.883.
The concentrations of acetic acid, propionic acid, butyric acid, valeric acid and total acid in the CS10% and CS15% groups showed an increasing trend, but the difference was not statistically significant (0.05 < P < 0.10), and the concentrations of acetic acid, propionic acid and total acid showed a quadratic increase with the increase of dietary CS supplemental level ( P < 0.01 and P < 0.05). 3.2 Effects of chili straw on abundance, diversity, and composition of rumen bacteria 3.2.1 Venn diagram analysis of rumen bacteria We sequenced each sample group, and the coverage rates for the resulting data all exceeding 99%, ensuring that the samples collected accurately reflected the changes in the rumen bacterial community.
At 2 μg/mL, although the difference was not statistically significant (p ∼ 0.052), the result was close to significance, suggesting that inhibitory effects might begin to manifest at this concentration.
For AMB, a significant inhibitory effect was observed as early as 0.1 μg/mL (p ∼ 0.022), with the significance increasing at higher concentrations, and a highly significant difference at 10 μL/mL (p ∼ 0.010).
The result for 5 μL/mL (∼4560.85 μg/mL) was close to significance (p ∼ 0.089), while at 10 μL/mL (∼9121.7 μg/mL), although not statistically significant, the difference approached significance (p ∼ 0.067), suggesting a considerable inhibitory potential at this higher concentration.
* indicates p < 0.05 for significant difference, ** indicates p < 0.01, *** indicates p < 0.001, and **** indicates p < 0.0001 for highly significant difference. 3 Results 3.1 Diarrhea rate and growth performance of calves Body weight and various growth performance metrics of diarrheic calves were measured, and diarrhea incidence from birth to weaning (1–60 days) was calculated based on fecal scores.
Although LA treatment alone has no significant changes in these proteins ( p > 0.05), an increasing trend can be observed in the mRNA expression levels of ZO-1 in the liver.
The main factors that were elaborated as different inoculum concentrations and two storage conditions were highly significant in the mean lesion length and percentage of the mean infected area.
The rarefaction curve based on the observed species showed a clear trend toward a saturation plateau, confirming that the sequencing adequately reflected community richness, with Group B showing greater diversity ( Figure 2B ).
Compared to other research on antimicrobial infections, studies on MRSA bacteremia are not only concentrated in developed countries but also show an increasing trend of global collaboration.
There was a general increase in resistance among isolates between arrival and rehandling, with a notable trend for increasing MDR prevalence among P. multocida isolates.
Genes in the che group displayed negative fitness scores in the motile selection series, with a complete reversal to positive trend in the non-motile selection series ( Figure 3B , left panel) while the mot group genes displayed a positive trend of fitness scores in the motile selection series and shifted to a neutral, slightly negative trend in the non-motile selection series ( Figure 3B , middle panel).
LB13243 treatment in both anti-hyperlipidaemic and anti-hyperglycaemic studies showed a trend toward normalizing protein metabolism, kidney function, glucose regulation, and liver health ( Table 3 ). 3.4.4 RNA extraction and qRT-PCR analysis for evaluation of marker genes Obesity and diabetes are interrelated metabolic disorders characterized by chronic inflammation.
Seasonal variations at different culture stages reveal a clear trend: concentrations and types of antibiotics as well as the abundance of ARGs gradually increase.
