While the conversion to OF can activate a positive trend towards the increase of SOM ( Gattinger et al., 2012 ), no evidence for a similar trend has been noticed for DOM ( Hu et al., 2018 ).

The JA level in LD exhibited an increasing trend compared with controls, albeit not statistically significant ( Figure 3B ).
However, by separating the bark into its main components, it was possible to observe that the processes of water storage and transport were only related to IBT, as evidenced by the highly significant correlations between RBT inner and BWC, WWC, %WinB, and Ψ stem-md ( Table 5 ).
However, these differences were more noticeable when using the culture-independent approach, for which there was a clear trend to group the bacterial communities first by olive genotype and then by extraction method with only one exception, and with “Acebuche” showing the most distant bacterial communities as compared to the cultivated olive genotypes.
It is noted that AtCAT2 gene expression was not corrected to CAT activities ( Figures 7F, H ), as when CAT activities for both wild type and transgenic plants declines under chilling-stress condition, only did AtCAT2 gene expression for wild type plants decline, while that for transgenic plants overexpressing CsDDI1 demonstrated an increasing trend during the first 4 d under the same condition.
A Hartley’s test to assess differences between variances showed marginally significant differences between conventional low-inputs vs conventional-high inputs and significant differences between conventional high-inputs and organic.
As a general result, an increase in the concentration of bacteria and/or fungal strains in the inoculated tests was observed, although the results were more or less significant depending on the inoculant (used alone or in combination) and experimental conditions ( Table 1 ).
The LNC presented a decreasing trend from top to bottom within the rice canopy, and the LNC of each leaf layer decreased along with the days after transplanting ( Figure 3B ).
In leaves, a small statistically insignificant increase in the level of JA in all variants immediately after heat stress was highly significant in all non-acclimated variants after 24-h recovery.
K showed a significant positive correlation with RL in both treatments (0.41 in control, 0.33 in stress), while other relationships were either nonsignificant or slightly significant.
Six qualitative traits in soybean with known published genomic positions were also used to compare these models, and results indicated that the FarmCPU consistently identified a single highly significant SNP closest to these known published genes.
The SC from J2 that were incubated with K6 or E1 showed a trend to induce a stronger ROS response than the SC from the respective bacteria alone, although not statistically significant ( Figure 5 ).
All the three species had an optimum temperature for aboveground biomass at 30/26°C ( Figures 4A, F, K ), a decrease in leaf biomass and area at 34/29°C ( Figures 4B, G, L, D, I, N ), an increasing trend for stem length with increasing temperature ( Figures 4C, H, M ).
Meanwhile, the analytical data showed that the chlorophyll content of the three over-expressed plants had an increasing trend, which was 1.38–1.81 and 1.52–2.81 folds of control plants under mock and salt stress treatments, respectively ( Figure 4C ).
Overall, Zn fertilization had less significant effect on time to panicle initiation under the non-drought scenario, although there was a clear trend for reducing the time to panicle formation in all Zn treatments.
Both fruit types showed a significant decreasing trend of R dark , and an increasing trend of P net ( Figure 4 ).
The P true of both ph and pp fruits showed an initial increasing trend followed by a decreasing trend as the fruit development progressed ( Figure 4 ).
The ANOVA ( Table 3 ) indicated a highly significant genotype effect, as well as significant effect of experiments and experiments x genotype interactions, on tan spot disease severity.
Highly significant correlations were also found between B4Ha, BIS1, BIS3, and BIS4 expression and shoot length ( Table 3 ).
With the increased duration of the low temperature treatment, F v / F m and PI ABS of blueberry leaves showed a decreasing trend.
The proportion of forest-related species showed a decreasing trend from the large forest patches toward the grasslands ( Figure 4C ).
For Pi although a clear trend was not observed, two scenarios were noteworthy; when across environment heritability of GY was high (>0.55) for instance in EYT2011-12 and EYT2014-15 ( Table 1 ), no variation was observed among models 2, 3, and 4 and they performed equally well over the base model in EYTs ( Figure 4 and Supplementary Table S12 ).
IAAsp exhibited an increasing trend ( ca . 2.4-fold) in both control and ethylene treated fruit but a significant variation was not identified ( Figure 6 ).
In contrast, in the salt-treated plants, the assimilation rate has a decreasing trend in the day and an increasing trend in the night.
We found that the meiotic stage, injection time, and the interaction between the meiotic stage and injection time had highly significant effects on the 2n pollen production rate.
