In line with this perspective, a study by Skjerdingstad and colleagues [ 59 ] found that parental burnout was high during the COVID-19 pandemic, with an increasing trend between the start and three months after.
Excerpts
Pandemic waves, on the other hand, should be considered with specific attention; in fact, there may be significant differences in the conditions of psychological stress experienced by people, precisely about the specificity of the pandemic wave—e.g., about duration, perceived dangerousness, changes in the security measures taken, and the possibility of experiencing social relations [ 45 ].
Additionally, the frequency of trucks passing in the street was a borderline significant factor in asthma (OR 1.66 (0.99–2.00)), having a cat at home was significant for asthma (OR 1.20 (0.86–1.66)) and exposure to tobacco smoking or smoking a water pipe were significant for asthma (OR 2.35 (1.33–4.18)/OR 1.65 (1.16–2.36)).
30 min post-dive) both at rest and post-provocation, as well as an “almost significant” difference for the resting measures at 30 min.
In all zones, the proportion of infected children sleeping under bednets was lower than 50% per month, with an increasing trend over the study period.
Additionally, an increasing trend in HCM-related mortality was observed among white and brown males and females aged 40 years and above from 2010 to 2018.
a notable trendgold
While its usage did not significantly vary by age or gender in this cohort, a notable trend emerged in the dataset that is consistent with a national Australian study that found older rural patients with a higher level of education (university degree or higher) were more likely to access virtual care [ 27 ].
Due to the pilot nature of the present study, as well as recent calls from statisticians for a more nuanced consideration of p values [ 42 ], alpha values of p < 0.10 were denoted as marginally significant.
a positive trendgold
The following excerpt from the interviews explains this: “In most cases, there is a positive trend [of the performance of the health districts] , which leads us to believe our [technical] support has brought about effects in the right direction.” [KII 6 , PHA] Based on quantitative routine data collected from DHIS2 software from 2018 to 2022, both HDs have shown good performance, with a score of 84% for Katoka HD and 80% for Bunkonde HD in 2022 ( Figure 5 ).
a strong trendgold
In terms of the variables of interest for this study, Figure 5 and Table 2 show that there is a strong trend for TROPOMI NO 2 and well density to be associated with increased odds of cardiovascular related outcomes.
The trend during the study period was relatively stable for onsite fuel, but an increasing trend was noted for vented and flared volumes in part due to a change in definition in the regulations [ 65 ].
The small body of research examining pain, fatigue, and weather has generally shown mixed and marginally significant effects.
The low-SES group performed better in wall-sitting ( Figure 2 c) at all ages (2010–2016), although the group differences narrowed from 9 years, where they were still practically significant (d = 0.27) but not at 12 years (d = 0.09).
extremely significantqualified
However, there was an extremely significant increase in the number of respondents who were “very confident” in treating myopia progression in <8 years and 8–12 years old, 8 weeks after the program: 32% point and 25% point increase, respectively.
Compassion to others ( p = 0.321) and self-esteem ( p = 0.093) were not significant contributors, though self-esteem approached significance.
a worrying trendgold
Introduction The risk of being raped among Sri Lankan youngsters is a grave concern, with the rate of rape in Sri Lanka showing a worrying trend.
Studies from different parts of the world showed an increasing trend in the number of sick leave days with an increase in the number of chronic conditions [ 25 ].
Neck positioning in a neutral position showed a trend toward improvement, with 5 participants reporting a decline, 13 showing improvement, and 92 reporting no change, though the result was not statistically significant (Z = −1.886, p = 0.059).
However, a substantially smaller stenosis may be significant when associated with other potentially mitigating factors such as left ventricular hypertrophy, which is a known risk factor for sudden cardiac death and an increased incidence of serious arrhythmias [ 17 , 18 , 19 ].
The p -value for the association of smoking with TTR went from p = 0.036 to p = 0.055, very close to significance at the 5% level. 4.
Effect size estimates were interpreted using guidance provided by Ferguson [ 94 ], which suggests that an effect size d of 0.41 or greater is the recommended minimum effect size necessary to achieve a practically significant effect. 2.6.2.
a clear trendgold
A clear trend in the efficacy of NOACs in elderly patients with a good risk profile has been indeed demonstrated several times [ 18 , 19 ].
While PM 2.5 episodes had the highest mortality impact over the entire period, Figure 6 shows a decreasing trend in PM 2.5 -related deaths, as episode days dropped from an average of 18.6 per year (1998–2023) to 3.0 per year (2019–2023).
The crude mortality rate overall showed an increasing trend, but by adjusting with the age distribution of casualties in 2010, it showed a slightly decreasing trend.
a notable trendgold
Similarly, Table 4 and Table 5 highlight a notable trend in body image satisfaction across different age groups.
