While PPRH2 showed a trend toward greater single-agent activity, these differences were statistically significant only when comparing DOTAP to PPRH2 ( p < 0.05) and Sc9 to PPRH2 ( p < 0.01) ( Figure 3 A), indicating that this concentration was appropriately sub-cytotoxic for combination studies.
Although glutathione peroxidase (GPX) showed an increasing trend in three highly heterogeneous studies ( I 2 = 94.4%; random-effects SMD = 4.29, [−0.31, 8.89]), this did not achieve statistical significance ( p > 0.05) ( Table 3 ).
Clinical evidence, though limited by small sample size and heterogeneity, showed a borderline significant benefit favoring CBD for overall behavioral symptoms ( p = 0.05), agitation, and caregiver distress.
Specifically, we identified a total of 169 nominally significant enriched terms ( p -value < 0.05 and FDR < 0.2), which represent a medium-confidence set, including a subset of 37 high-confidence terms that passed multiple test correction with an FDR of <0.05 ( Figure 3 ).
Similarly, CS activity was significantly higher in the TS groups compared to the CON group, and significantly higher in the TS2 group compared to the TS4 group, showing an initial increasing trend followed by a decreasing trend with increasing TS duration ( p < 0.05, Figure 4 b).
Both nominally significant alterations ( p < 0.05) and those surviving multiple testing correction (FDR < 0.05) were reported; however, only FDR-significant findings were interpreted as robust.
Pathway Analysis The proteins expressing a nominally significant difference ( p < 0.05) between the AD and the control groups were investigated using the expression analysis workflow in Ingenuity Pathway Analysis (Qiagen, Venlo, The Netherlands).
Among smaller, less precise studies toward the bottom of the plot, results were distributed across both significant (light gray area, p < 0.01) and marginally significant regions (dark gray area, 0.01 < p < 0.05), suggesting no evident directional bias.
Statistical analysis confirmed that the differences in neurite length between the brain extract treatment and the other treatments were highly significant ( p < 0.05), validating the robustness of our research methodology with the neural outgrowth assay.
The number of nominally significant metabolites ( p < 0.05) across the sarcopenia traits ranged from 239 for ALM to 73 for usual walking pace ( Table 1 ).
The FW-STI model exhibited a weaker fit ( R 2 = 0.54–0.70) with borderline significance (only W05 reached p < 0.05; p -values of 0.06–0.09 for the remaining samples).
Compared with the LPS group, the AEE group showed an increasing trend in the content of the Firmicutes ( p > 0.05) and a decreasing trend in the abundance of the Bacteroidetes ( p > 0.05) ( Figure 12 D). 2.11.2.
When analyzing the variable area, perimeter, aspect ratio, circularity, and roundness of the selected ROIs, a highly significant difference ( p < 0.05) appeared between cells grown on the different surfaces tested.
Compared with starting levels (122.9 ± 3.2 mEq/L (mean ± SEM)), sweat chloride showed a decreasing trend over time, with a significant difference at six months ( p < 0.05), while BMI and FEV 1 % increased in time, although only by trend.
While the metformin-treated and extract-treated groups showed an increasing trend, the differences were not statistically significant when compared to the STZ group ( p > 0.05).
Similarly, the high-dose teak extract group (400–500 mg/dL) exhibited a decreasing trend ( p > 0.05), while the low- and medium-dose teak extract groups (500–600 mg/dL) did not significantly differ from the STZ group ( p > 0.05). 2.3.
Although the rescue patterns in liver models were less pronounced than those seen in prostate and breast cells, Eb still showed modest protective effects, with modest significance emerging in specific comparisons ( p < 0.05).
The pairwise equation with control and other groups showed highly significant. p < 0.05 was considered to establish statistically significant differences.
