However, one may speculate that, in view of the fact that GTR was used in complicated cases, the difference might be significant if these cases were treated without GTR.
Excerpts
Both the multivariate logistic regression and the XGBoost model analyses consistently demonstrated that back extensor strength was a highly significant factor of frailty and not inferior to the prediction model using grip strength.
a clear trendgold
Both the Edinburgh test at 20 and 32 weeks and the STAI tests had similar results, which were not overtly significant from the statistics point of view but were quite close to it and showing a clear trend.
This trend aligns with global observations from other studies, which demonstrate a decreasing trend in mortality related to acute diabetic complications on a worldwide scale [ 31 , 32 ] It is important to acknowledge the limitations of our study when interpreting the results.
The results showed a trend towards a greater decrease in self-reported craving in the real tDCS group compared to the sham group, although this trend did not reach statistical significance.
Patients in the RATS group with pathological stage II disease showed a trend of better DFS compared to those in the VATS group, but the difference was not statistically significant (3-year DFS: 92.6% vs. 77.7%; 5-year DFS: 92.6% vs. 73.4%, p = 0.105) ( Table 2 , Figure 3 ).
With regard to the analysis of laboratory parameters, the eosinophil count had a slightly significant increase at T4 (median 460 cells/mm 3 ) followed by a decrease at T8 (median 400 cells/mm 3 ) and T12 (median 370 cells/mm 3 ) in agreement with dupilumab registration and real-life studies [ 28 , 29 ].
Furthermore, the highly significant correlations between the NDQ-13 ‘fear’ component and the trauma parameters at CPC and CPTS-RI provide further support for the hypothesis of ANS activation underlying both nightmares and PTSD and their entanglement.
Antioxidant enzymes, including SOD and GPX, showed a decreasing trend in the STZ placebo group and an increasing trend in the ARB-treated group; however, these differences were insignificant ( Figure 5 ).
a slight trendgold
No significant differences were observed in weight and blood glucose changes; however, a slight trend was observed toward improvement in the ARB group, suggesting the need to consider the systemic effects of ARBs.
has shown an increasing trend from 2203 in 2010 to 3092 cases in 2015 [ 15 ].
Although an impact of lateral frontal cortex activation on amygdala activation is assumed, individual testosterone fingerprints might be significant, contributing biomarkers that impact the outcomes of, e.g., brain stimulation.
[ 19 ], abnormal rates in the horizontal plane of the vHIT varied from 77.8% (adolescents) to 91.3% (young adults), and 94.7% (middle-aged adults) up to 100% (older adults), showing an increasing trend with age, though not statistically significant.
As regards cerebrovascular pathologies, mortality rates are high in both sexes, being greater in women, than in the case of deaths due to AMI, in which a decreasing trend is observed.
In addition, an increasing trend in deaths associated with heart failure can be observed.
At baseline, there were highly significant differences between all BMI groups, pain increased and age and general health decreased with higher BMI.
Furthermore, a general decreasing trend, up to T2, was assessed for REC, PPD, and CAL; the BOP and VPI indexes showed an increasing trend up to T2 instead.
Since the publication of the COSCA initiative in 2018, we have observed an increasing trend of studies adopting outcome measures as recommended by the COSCA initiative [ 2 ].
There was also a decreasing trend for the use of survival as the only outcome metric among these studies.
Retinal mRNA analysis for PLVAP showed an increasing trend with LPS treatment, which was significantly downregulated with ICG001 treatment after 48 h ( Figure 8 ).
Also, since we have used the pool estimation of proportion to report the outcomes, it should be highlighted that there might be significant heterogeneity and bias, which could have significantly affected our outcomes.
They did not differ in respect to the majority of parameters (FVC, FEV1, FEV1/FVC, TLC, RV and AV, TLCOc/AV), however FVC and FEV1 were close to being statistically significant.
This has led to an increasing trend of conservative treatment for patients with early diagnosis and endoscopic treatment for localized abscesses, resulting in favorable in-hospital outcomes.
[ 11 ] had already reported marginally significant results regarding the association between self-report measures and neuropsychological tests involving memory assessment.
Even more pronounced was the link between emotion-focused coping and depression: those resorting to this strategy had a 1.6-fold increased risk, and the association was highly significant with a p -value of less than 0.001.
