In these adjusted analyses, the higher prevalence of malignancy in cLP-only patients remained significant compared with oLP-only patients (adjusted OR 2.70, 95% CI 1.45–5.04; p = 0.002) and LPP-only patients (adjusted OR 1.88, 95% CI 1.07–3.31; p = 0.028), with borderline significance compared with gLP-only patients (adjusted OR 2.71, 95% CI 1.00–7.35; p = 0.050).
At inclusion, multi-cytokine analysis revealed an increasing trend of serum RANTES, plasma interleukin- (IL-) 4 and IL-6 levels compared to baseline ( p > 0.05 for all differences).
However, RV-GLS was significantly lower in the ID group ( p = 0.005), while TAPSE and pulmonary acceleration time showed a trend towards lower values in the ID group ( p = 0.05 for both).
The means of each group of variables were compared using one-factor ANOVA, with p -values less than 0.01 ( p < 0.01) being considered highly significant and those less than 0.05 ( p < 0.05) being considered significant.
However, compared to immediately after cooling, the FTRS total was borderline significant 25′ after cooling ( p = 0.05) and significantly greater post-50′ cooling ( p < 0.0001).
In the univariate analyses, the degree of DFA stenosis was a significant predictor for major amputation ( p = 0.04) and a borderline significant predictor of improvement of the ankle brachial index ( p = 0.05).
However, confirming the association between GOT levels and muscular metabolism and function, GOT levels were also found to be significantly associated with gait speed and almost significantly with grip strength ( p = 0.05).
From the meta-analysis, the difference between patients and controls was highly significant at Workload@VT (overall mean: −10.8 at Test 1 vs. −33.0 at Test 2, p < 0.05), which may reflect present the functional impairment associated with PEM.
In analogous analysis of two polymorphisms, -31 and -RN, the difference of distribution showed a trend resulting from 37% of patients with MI before 60 in the group -31CT/-RN11 and 72% in the group -31CT/-RN12 ( p = 0.05 in Fisher’s exact test).
There were significant correlations between BMI reduction and increase of SDNN-I (r = 0.281, p = 0.04; Figure 2 ) and also nearly significant correlations for increase of SDNN (r = 0.267, p = 0.05) and SDANN (r = 0.256, p = 0.07).
In patients with BAM, performance of usual activities improved, while improvement in overall assessment of bowel function and stool consistency were only of borderline significance ( p = 0.05).
38), pre-SLS test-dominant (26.8% decrease in falls for 1 unit increase in pre-SLS test-dominant, p = 0.003), pre-SLS test-non-dominant (15.9% decrease in falls with 1 unit increase in pre-SLS test-non-dominant, p = 0.029), MMSE (10.9% decrease in falls with 1 unit increase in MMSE, p = 0.018), and marginally significant for pre-FRT (4.6% decrease in falls with 1 unit increase in pre-FRT, p = 0.050).
The total OAG-F scores of the survivors indicated a significant downward trend, whereas the scores demonstrated an increasing trend in non-survivors ( p < 0.05).
After the adjustment, a clear trend was observed ( p < 0.05) in which higher back extensor strength was associated with increased AMM (r = 1.12) and BMM (r = 0.89).
After adjusting for age, the LSMUP ratio was significantly lower in SMA patients than in ALS patients ( p = 0.014) and showed a trend toward significance compared to controls ( p = 0.05) ( Figure 1 B).
Septic arthritis sequelae were found to be of borderline significance ( p = 0.05, OR = 4.1), suggesting that the long-term effects of previous infections on the hip joint should be investigated in more detail.
A meta-analysis performed on isoflurane only showed a trend ( p = 0.05) towards a reduction in mortality in a subgroup of high-quality studies comparing isoflurane to propofol in cardiac surgery [ 52 ].
However, HDL cholesterol (OR = 2.511, 95% CI: 0.992–6.358, p = 0.052), systolic blood pressure (OR = 0.490, 95% CI: 0.227–1.058, p = 0.069), diastolic blood pressure (OR = 0.445, 95% CI: 0.177–1.118, p = 0.085), and fasting glucose (OR = 1.985, 95% CI: 0.449–8.771, p = 0.366) did not reach statistical significance at p < 0.05, indicating the limited predictive power for WHR in this model.
