It can be seen from ANOVA that the effect of straw fiber filling amount and pretreatment method on tensile strength and tensile modulus is extremely significant, indicating that straw fiber filling amount and pretreatment method have an evident influence on tensile properties.
The admixture of casein influenced the properties of the mortar, but not in all cases, and it was possible to determine a clear trend related to the variable amount of casein.
The addition of TiO 2 to PLA caused a statistically significant decrease in the contact angle values of both the composite and the coated specimen, and a decreasing trend in the values of the composite to the coated sample.
The results show a decreasing trend in adsorption capacity (Pb > Cd > Cu > Ni) according to obtained values (i.e., q m = 169, 132, 84.0, and 60.7, respectively, for Pb, Cd, Cu, and Ni).
Although high-crystallinity graphite also produces 2D peaks, the position of the 2D peak in few-layer graphene shows a clear trend of moving towards a lower wave number (blue shift phenomenon) [ 24 , 25 , 26 , 27 ].
Accordingly, this is consistent with the result in Figure 12, showing that the ratio of the loss modulus to the storage modulus increases with temperature from 0 to 25 °C, which means that the hardness will show a decreasing trend following an increase in temperature.
The atomic ratios of H/C, O/C, and (O + N)/C all showed a decreasing trend, indicating that the polarity of biochar decreased with increasing pyrolysis temperature [ 20 ], which was consistent with other studies [ 20 , 21 , 22 ].
However, beyond these moisture thresholds, the curves demonstrate a decreasing trend when the moisture contents of pebbles and sand are greater than 0.75% and 10.9%, respectively.
Both TTF (median 720, 643, 562, 406, 254 s) and the NCF (3600, 3215, 2810, 2032, 1482 cycles) decreased in the following order RM_06 > RPB > RM_04 > Proc > WOG with partially significant differences.
According to Table 3 and Table 6 , with the increase in TM addition, the mechanical properties of Cr 0.47 Al 0.5 TM 0.03 N such as bulk modulus, shear modulus, Young’s modulus, and theoretical hardness exhibit a decreasing trend, while an increase in Cauchy pressure and Pugh’s index of ductility indicates an increased toughness and a tendency toward the mobile character of the bonds, which results in a decreased resistance against shearing.
As rubber particles possess a lower unit weight compared to that of the natural sand, CRGPC exhibits a decreasing trend in density with the increase of the percentage of rubber particles. 3.3.
A clear trend between residual stress and chemical resistance was confirmed in an acid resistance test by using 40% HF [ 75 ] with no appreciable etching after the test for the lowest tensile stress (+41 MPa).
When the strength of the rock block is much higher than that of the matrix, and the block proportion is less than 70%, the uniaxial compressive strength of the sample shows an increasing trend with the increase in the block proportion [ 25 , 26 , 27 ], but when the block proportion exceeds 70%, the uniaxial compressive strength of the sample shows a decreasing trend [ 22 ].
This wide band shows an increasing trend with the CB content of the samples and is attributed to the -OH groups on the CB surface (oxidized -COOH and -OH groups as well as adsorbed water molecules [ 41 , 42 , 43 , 44 ]).
It also shows a parabolic change with the extension of the holding time, reaching a maximum of about 9.2% at 5 h of holding time, and a decreasing trend at 10 h of holding time, about 6.8%.
The lignin content increased after all treatments except P/160/120/5; however, the rise was not considerable and did not follow a clear trend depending on the TM parameters utilized.
In zinc sulfate electrolyte, the peak intensity of I 3 − and I 5 − showed a trend of first increasing and then gradually weakening during the discharge process and gradually became stronger during the charging process, and the peak intensity of I 5 − was significantly higher than that of I 3 − .
In other words, all the simulated temperature curves exhibit a decreasing trend in peak temperatures along the depth from the top surface, which yields a significant grain growth difference in various layers, leading to the formation of the inverse gradient-grained structures.
