3b ), a clear trend can be seen with increasing amounts of immiscible hydrocarbon reaching a plateau of nearly 50% of the total carbon in both gold (Exp_6) and platinum (Exp_3) runs; however, the amount of hydrocarbon increased earlier and faster in contact with gold.
We observed nominally significant interaction effects in both studies, consistent with relatively less decline in females (72% and 90% of the decline in males for CFS and SHHS, N =719 and 5,572, respectively, both P <0.05 from a linear regression on spindle density, controlling for standard covariates).
While siRNA-mediated depletion of endogenous HSF1 in myofibers showed a trend toward increased TDP-43 aggregation, this was not statistically significant under the parameters and conditions tested (Fig. 7d ).
Although histology samples did not show any differences in the inflammatory status of patients with IBD prior to or after hypoxia, immunostaining for p62 of distal colon sections showed a trend towards reduced protein levels of p62 1 week after hypoxia in HV and patients with CD, indicating a hypoxia-mediated increase in autophagy flux (Fig. 1g , arrowheads ).
By identifying and quantifying all isoforms we detected at these 169 genes, we found highly significant differential isoform usage between cells in 55 of the genes (Chi2-contigency test, alpha=0.001, holm-sidak multiple-testing correction).
For static site-energy disorder ( red circles ), while longer expansion times than those explored ( τ ≲ 6.3 ħ / t ) would better distinguish insulating behaviour from sub-ballistic and sub-diffusive expansion, a clear trend towards arrested transport ( γ ~ 0) is found for \documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$\Delta {\rm{/}}t \gg 1$$\end{document} Δ ∕ t ≫ 1 .
In line with this, the aa 38–130 fragment, which was preferentially recognized by HSP70, showed a trend toward a more hydrophobic surface, whereas aa 127–207 did not (Supplementary Table 2 ).
The Development and Interaction networks encompassed broad functional categories, spreading the networks’ genes among many different categories, so that enrichment results rarely survive multiple testing correction; nominally significant functional enrichment terms are therefore included for the annotation of the Development and Interaction networks (Fig. 2 , top panel ).
Correspondingly, AAV-SG1-shR-injected tau +/+ mice showed a trend towards higher levels of ERK phosphorylation 10 min after PTZ compared to AAV-ctr-shR-injected controls (Supplementary Fig. 8 ).
2k exhibits an increasing S content from the outside to the inside, a high P content in the outermost layer (from elemental P in the TPS layer) with a decreasing trend towards inside, and a N content that started from the middle layer (from elemental N in the PANS layer).
PROX1 ChIP-seq was validated by comparing results of ChIP-seq with two different PROX1 antibodies raised against separate epitopes (Millipore, 07-537 and Proteintech, 51043-1-AP), which showed a highly significant Pearson correlation ( R = 0.96).
For the presynaptic suppression group, in which presynaptic spiking was low or absent, there appeared to be a small trend towards synaptic weakening in the experiments showing some presynaptic spikes.
Contrasted behaviours are also observed in the δ 18 O records, with TY decreasing throughout the Holocene and TALDICE exhibiting relative high values during the early Holocene followed by a minimum at ~8 ka, with an increasing trend from 8 to 1.5 ka and again lower values during the last millennium.
Following this increase in irradiance there was no visible leaf chlorosis or anthocyanin formation, although the index of chlorophyll content showed an increasing trend with time that was independent of irradiance and though there was an initial drop of anthocyanin content on the first day of high irradiance this was followed by a recovery throughout the acclimation period (Supplementary Fig. 1 ).
