Short-term exposure had an increasing trend with temperature, while long-term exposure showed a relatively flat response with the biggest difference between exposure lengths at 31°C.
Excerpts
In a sub-group analysis by gender and cancer site (colon or rectal), some of the nominally significant associations observed in the whole population appeared to be limited to males ( S1 Table ) and to colon cancer ( S2 Table ), respectively.
Highly variable data can produce low R 2 values, even though a significant trend has been fit.
Although it is true that part of the increasing trend in PDR was due to an increasing trend observed in E138A frequency ( Fig 5 ), affecting RPV and ETR (drugs not used in Nicaragua), PDR to the two most common first-line ART regimens in Nicaragua reached important levels in 2015: 14.6% to AZT + 3TC + EFV and 10.4% to TDF + FTC + EFV.
The highest average SRSi value was recorded in the inner-most embayment during the dry season 2006, reflecting a decreasing trend seaward ( Fig 4d ).
The correlation between Strength and Total Assets is almost flat and negative even after the collapse of 2007-08, but it shows an increasing trend in the recent period ( Fig 3 , plot on the center).
On average across all four genotypes and both sexes, the exercise treatment showed a highly significant decrease in fly weight, triglyceride content, and glycogen content as well as an increase in protein content ( Fig 2 , Tables 1 and 2 ).
This SNP is also significantly associated with systolic and diastolic BP in the European ancestry GWAS meta-analysis from the ICBP, and with systolic BP in African Americans, but was borderline significant for diastolic BP in African Americans ( Table 2 ).
This can be verified by the presence of highly significant autocorrelation in absolute or squared returns, despite insignificant autocorrelation in raw returns.
Cesarean section presented a slightly significant risk only among children diagnosed older than 24 months of age.
A pooled analysis of 8 observational studies verified that herpes zoster brought a higher risk to stroke; but the risk showed a decreasing trend along with the time after herpes zoster.
There was a negative but only marginally statistically significant relationship between the number of isolates that matched human cases and emergent wetlands.
They revealed that blood manganese levels were negatively associated with glaucoma prevalence, while mercury had a marginally significant association with glaucoma.
Results from our analysis were similar, except that in this analysis adalimumab also demonstrated superiority over placebo for clinical remission at end of induction; the results from Danese and colleagues [ 15 ] were close to significance.
Indeed, when freezing was most different between the groups in the later trials of the test (trials 4 and 5), there was a highly significant positive correlation between the PL-IL firing rate differential and freezing behavior (where PL firing in the signaled group was less suppressed than IL firing, resulting in a positive PL-IL difference value) [ Fig 3B ; Pearson r = 0.93, p < 0.01].
a positive trendgold
We have observed a positive trend in the publication of pancreatic cancer research, although the reason is definitely the multifactorial action plans, such as those in the USA and Europe ( www.pancan.org , www.eupancreas.com ), which increase awareness and may influence decision makers and promote grant funding [ 25 ].
Finally, postmenopausal women who ever used hormone replacement therapy showed a decreased CC risk (OR = 0.44; 95%CI = 0.24–0.78) and almost significant decreased RC risk (OR = 0.51; 95%CI = 0.24–1.07).
a positive trendgold
Number of children and months of lactation displayed different effects in women with low and high educational level, with the interaction term proving statistically significant (P = 0.001 and 0.040 respectively): while parity showed a positive trend among women with low educational level (primary school or less), in women with higher level of education (secondary school or university) the OR decreased by 23% for every child (P = 0.012).
Furthermore, this study simulated the occurrences of all MCRBs further subdivided into ICHs, other MBs, CRNMBs and deaths from bleeding, however, the meta-analysis of the RE-COVER trials indicated that there was only a marginally significant reduction of MBs observed in the double-dummy period in dabigatran arm compared to VKA.
When observed by breed, the F IS index from EC, BC, HER, GYR, and NEL breeds showed slightly significant values, and with Macabea presented no significant deviation.
a notable trendgold
There was a notable trend of the shallowest communities occupying the narrowest bands, likely owing to pronounced environmental gradient changes at shallow depths, such as primary production in the euphotic zone (both benthic and phytoplankton) and wave base (i.e., hydrodynamic forces created by water waves).
Hence, with silhouette drawings the group of DPs were significantly impaired relative to the control participants in terms of discriminability and also performed more slowly although this difference in latency was only marginally significant.
On the other hand, when considering the full set (RM13), a decreasing trend (with the number of meioses/generations) was indeed found ( Table 1 , Fig 2 ).
extremely significantqualified
There was significant or extremely significant positive correlation between qP, NPQ, F v /F m , F v /F o , Φ PSII , and ETR in both the cultivars, but no correlation was found between qP and NPQ or ETR in Xinong 979.
Additionally, 16 repeats were overrepresented in ALC patients from the UK in comparison to alcoholic CP patients and with borderline significance in comparison to controls.
