Whereas finerenone treatment at concentrations of 1 nM showed a clear trend towards reduced SMC proliferation rates, 10 nM finerenone sufficiently and significantly prevented aldosterone-induced SMC proliferation (* P <0.05 to serum-free, # P <0.05 to DMSO, n = 6, Fig 1A and 1B ).
Based on this interpretation, Fig 4 also tell us that the concentration of glucose molecule in diabetic SD rats are more affected by administration of the anti-diabetic drugs than the two BCAAs (leucine and isoleucine) though all displayed a decreasing trend.
