In our study, ANS enzyme activity did not exhibit a consistent trend under the control , but ‘Chrystal Regal’ and ‘Zi Hong Tuo Gui’ showed a decreasing trend in ANS enzyme activity from stages S1 to S3 under high-temperature stress.

This does not include the P adsorbed on the surface structures of the cell which might be significant; in certain microalgal species such as Micractinium simplicissimum , it can even surpass the cell P quota (see, e.g., [ 24 ]).

In the trend analysis of the GRI, we found that 59.09% of grasslands showed an improvement trend, while 40.91% showed a decreasing trend in their resilience, and the degree of improvement was higher than the degree of degradation during the past 22 years.

As shown in Table 1 and Table S2 , we obtained 3 upregulated (2 Protein DMR6-LIKE OXYGENASE 2 ( DLO2 ; Cs9g14480 and orange1.1t01963) and 1 Protein DOWNY MILDEW RESISTANCE 6 ( DMR6; Cs5g16310)) and 1 downregulated ( DLO1 ; Cs5g28730) gene involved in the SA catabolic process, 2 upregulated UDP-glycosyltransferase 74F2 ( UGT74F2 ; Cs5g21200 and Cs5g21220) genes involved in the conversion (glucosylation) of SA to SAG and SA glucose ester (SGE) [ 106 ], and an unchanged SA level and an increasing trend in SAG level in LN0 vs.

The contents of H 2 O 2 in the three cultivars showed a trend of decreasing first, then increasing, and then decreasing again. 2.2.

The sucrose content of the three cultivars showed a decreasing trend with time.

Therefore, in this study, with the intensification of stress, the activity of antioxidant enzymes showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing but still maintained a significantly higher activity than CK ( Figure 2 ).
