We found highly significant correlations between hepatocyte release and bile production, AST release, and oxygen uptake during perfusion.

The total levels of Zyxin, which is present only in mature FAs 9 , showed instead a decreasing trend by lowering the NG dimensionality, and it was significantly reduced on T200 (P < 0.05 T1 vs .

Of note, genes with a consistent linear increase (Cluster 3) showed a highly significant overrepresentation of ECM and collagen genes corroborating the establishment of pro-fibrotic processes in the liver over time.

The best alternative brain reconfiguration associated with the verbal fluency scores was significant in some measures including Pearson’s correlation, wavelet coherence, and cross-correlation and marginally significant in some others such as Earth mover’s distance.

The maximum contact force in Experiment 1 shows an increasing trend along with the increase of the perceived weight of the virtual object.

Highly significant correlations were obtained in Scenario 1 using as independent variable the average LRI obtained assembling data from the two “central” releasing dates (June 21 st and July 11 th ; see Table 1 ).

In our case, all the independent variables (LRIs) used in the simple linear regression analysis have a significant decreasing trend (a decreasing trend is also present in the dependent variables, though it is not significant).

Moreover, when data from all the animals used in the study were pooled, a highly significant correlation between energy intake and FGF23 was observed.

While not passing the threshold, the adjusted p-values for the remaining 4 genes and 7 vlincRNAs were in a marginally significant range (0.05–0.1) (Supplementary Table 6 ).

The experimental data showed a high level of variability both between and within individual volunteers at all time points, with an overall trend towards an equilibrium between the six active hsdS genes (Fig. 3A,B ).

Within the infragranular layer IV and V pyramidal neurons of the parietal cortex, we saw a highly significant reduction in dendritic intersections per shell as a result of injury (Fig. 2a ).

Of note, periodic acid-Schiff (PAS) staining indicated that the melatonin-treated control group displayed drastically increased goblet cells in colons, whereas TLR4 KO mice showed a trend toward decreased goblet cells compared to WT mice (Fig. 1e,f,i,j ).

qRT-PCR showed significantly increased expression of Mtnr1a and an increasing trend of Mtnr1b in colons of melatonin-administered mice compared to vehicle-treated groups when also treated with DSS (Fig. 2c ).

While the difference was not significant, melatonin-treated groups showed a decreasing trend in Bacteroidetes and an increasing trend of Firmicutes relative abundance compared to vehicle-treated groups (Fig. 3c ) as previous studies 17 , 28 .

However, a notable trend of increasing bioturbation intensity is present in the shallow inner to mid-ramp during deposition of the Nudaus Formation 55 , within the middle part of the Nama Group succession (Fig. 2g ).
