It followed a decreasing trend from 2014 to 2016, but reached maximum numbers in 2017.

In addition, the mean number of alerts per hour in the ward was not significantly different but showed a trend of increase when the dogs were adults (Fig. 6B ).
Figure 3(b) shows an interesting trend in which the current flowing through the PEDOT:PSS fiber (10 wt%) rapidly increased when immersed in pure water and in DI water with 0.1% of KCl, with 0.1% of lactic acid, and with 0.01% of glucose solution.

In the group of RRMS patients that switched to fingolimod or alemtuzumab there was a slight trend that those with higher baseline CSF GAP-43 concentration more often achieved clinical disability improvement (CDI; EDSS improvement of ≥1 point for those with an EDSS of ≥ 2 points at baseline, excluding 5 patients as they did not have EDSS ≥ 2 at baseline), but not significant [CDI at follow-up ( n = 5): 1930 (1471–2999) pg/mL, no CDI at follow-up ( n = 25): 1717 (1354–2398) pg/mL, p = 0.58].

The results showed that PW exhibits a clear increase, with an upward trend of 0.29 mm decade −1 for China as a whole and 0.32 mm decade −1 for eastern China during 1970–2012; and the trend has accelerated since the mid-1980s, with a positive trend of 0.34 mm decade −1 during 1986–2012 for China and a more rapid growth of 0.38 mm decade −1 for eastern China.
Although 23 SNP pairs were identified as nominally significant (Supplemental Table S5 ), no SNP pair survived for multiple comparison corrections.
A recent study documented the results of the largest genome-wide association study (GWAS) for chronic AT to date, identifying borderline significant evidence of an association of rs1937810 in membrane protein palmitoylated 7 (MPP7) gene to Achilles tendon injury 8 .
Previous work with Bar-tailed godwits ( Limosa lapponica ) subjected to inactive fasting during stopover showed a trend to increase plasma butyrate 22 , suggesting that it supports general energetic requirements rather than the specific energetic demands of flight.
Among the subgroups by eGFR trends, subjects with a decreased eGFR trend had a significantly higher risk of AF in those with the highest eGFR variability (Q4), whereas those with maintained eGFR or increased eGFR trends showed a trend for increased risk of AF in those with the highest eGFR variability (Q4).
For the subgroups of age strata, an increasing trend for developing AF risk was observed in older subjects (adjusted HR 1.030, 95% CI 0.919–1.155 for 20–39 years; adjusted HR 1.078, 95% CI 1.032–1.126 for 40–64 years; and adjusted HR 1.168, 95% CI 1.082–1.260 for ≥65 years, where Q1–3 of each age stratum served as a reference, p-for-interaction = 0.0153).
On subgroup analyses, Q4 in males or those with a decreasing trend of eGFR had significantly increased risks of incident AF compared to Q1 (HR 1.127, 95% CI 1.082–1.175; and HR 1.115, 95% CI 1.059–1.173, respectively).
Highly significant positive associations of betalain, β-xanthin, and β-cyanin were exhibited among pigments and with TAC (ABTS + ), TAC (DPPH), and TPC.
Bulk density did not differ much through the mangrove soil depth profile, ranging from 0.86 to 0.94 g cm 3 , but was greatest in the surface soil layers of the ponds and showed a decreasing trend with depth (Fig. 3 ).
Conclusions This study adds to the growing literature on the role of mangroves as highly significant global C sinks and improves understanding of C dynamics associated with land-use change in mangroves.
In this stage, the hump shape was consistently observed (the quadratic term was highly significant, and alpha-diversity in low- and medium-dispersal categories was significantly higher than in no- and high-dispersal categories: difference = 0.34, s.e. = 0.12, p = 0.005).
It showed a trend similar to gamma-diversity in late succession, with dispersal having a positive effect in lower temperatures and a negative one in higher temperatures.
Noteworthy, fish showed a trend preference for the eighth exit (which corresponded specularly to the second exit from the right corridor side); this was not observed in the two previous experiments, although this preference was not above chance level (V = 19.00, p = 0.221) and not significantly different from the seventh exit (W = 5.00, p = 0.423).
These showed a trend of slight up-regulation at early times after irradiation, without a clear dose effect, and a trend of down-regulation at later times, particularly after the highest dose.
The higher prevalence reported in the present study highlights an increasing trend for fusidic acid resistance among MRSA isolated in Kuwait hospitals. The high prevalence of fusidic acid resistance among MRSA isolates was attributed in part to the emerging chimeric genetic elements comprising SCC mec elements and the fusidic acid resistance determinant, fusC (SCCfusC) 20 as also seen in this study (Table 1 ).
The anodic current peaks showed an increasing trend as the amounts of BiNP and MWCNT were increased from 0.5 mg to 1.0 mg as seen in Fig. 8 .
A decreasing trend in Ω 1 ( x ) values with depth can be seen in the reservoir.

For winter season, the results show a positive trend with a small vertical gradient in the KR in the future (Fig. 3C ).
ThSSim results showed an increasing trend for surface water temperature during the simulation period, with a reverse trend observed for water temperature in the bottom layers for three seasons (spring, summer and autumn).

Water temperature variation in reservoirs is also periodic, since it fluctuates annually as a function of atmospheric driving forces and follows a clear trend during the year.
Interestingly, AKI was associated with brain injury, and postnatal hypotension tended to be associated with brain injury with borderline significance.
