Item C and item B 2 had a highly significant effect on Y values ( p < 0.0001), term B, term AB, term AC and term A 2 had a significant effect on Y values ( p < 0.05), and the remaining terms did not have significant effects.
Furthermore, 2.40 MBq 90 Y-DOTA-DAB4 given 24 hours after chemotherapy produced a highly significant extension of MST to 61 days ( P <0.0001 versus control, and P <0.001 versus any other treatment including 2.40 MBq 90 Y-DOTA-7E11 given 24 hours after chemotherapy; Figure 6B ).
Relationship between patterns of CCSVI and clinical course We also found a highly significant difference in the distribution of the clinical courses among the CCSVI patterns (p<0.0001, χ 2 test) ( table 4 ).
The direction and significance of correlations among the smoking phenotypes within the dataset are similar, with all correlations highly significant (P<0.0001), except for the correlation between age at initiation and cigarettes per day in the NHS sample ( Table S2 ).
Statistical analysis showed highly significant differences between Alström syndrome diabetic and young-onset type 2 diabetic patients with respect to presence of neuropathic symptoms ( P < 0.0001), absence of vibration perception ( P = 0.004), and mean lightest perceived monofilament ( P = 0.00001).
This analysis included > 300 families homologous to multi-pathway proteins and > 600 families homologous to other proteins, and revealed that the average frequencies of both insertions and deletions of the multi-pathway families were ~30% higher than those of others (insertions: 3.01 versus 2.42; deletions: 8.79 versus 6.29) (Additional file 4 ) and the differences were highly significant (P < 0.0001; T-test).
No significant difference existed between the caecal loads of the Δ pegA :: cat and Δ pegA mutants ( P values 0.27 and 0.64 at 1 and 3 days post-inoculation, respectively); however in both cases a highly significant reduction in caecal load was detected for each mutant relative to the parent strain ( P values < 0.0001 at 1 day post-infection), consistent with previous findings.
The difference between the groups of severity was highly significant (p < 0.0001).
While both monotherapies induced a modest increase in CD69 expression, the combination treatment led to highly significant upregulation compared with the vehicle ( p < 0.0001 for CD4+, p = 0.0005 for CD8+, Dunn’s test).
In addition to the previously reported QTLs on chromosome 16 (p<0.0001; 8), we found two highly significant QTLs (p<0.0001; Table 1 ; Fig. 1 ) on chromosome 5, one significant QTL on chromosome 2, (p<0.0001; Table 1 ; Fig. 1 ) and one suggestive QTL on chromosome 17 for USI trait (p<0.001; Table 1 ).
The chi-square tests indicated highly significant relationships across all comparisons (p < 0.0001), confirming that the observed distributions were not random ( Table 2 ).
The mean (standard deviation) number of days from vaccination to onset of symptoms for influenza-positive subjects was 119 (21) compared with 109 (32) for influenza-negative subjects, with a significant trend for increasing risk ( P <0.0001) of a positive influenza result in the unadjusted analysis considering days elapsed since vaccination to onset of symptoms ( Table 4 ).
An objective validation of the self-reported smoking history of a randomly selected sub-sample immigrant group, using expired carbon monoxide (CO) measurements, showed a highly significant correlation coefficient (r = 0.64) of expired CO levels with the reported number of cigarettes consumed (p < 0.0001).
We found that the associated SNPs rs950169 and rs2135551 showed a highly significant correlation with the use of an alternative splice acceptor site, resulting in a truncated PLAC (protease and lacunin) domain in the ADAMTSL3 protein (p<0.0001, Figure S2 ).
