In the case of RTAB, the intercept was not statistically significant (0.0086; SE = 0.035; p = 0.807), yet the effect of POD 1 remained highly significant (−0.0054; SE < 0.001; z = −11.72; p < 0.001), although with a smaller magnitude.
Excerpts
Statistical analysis using the Mann–Whitney test revealed a highly significant difference ( P < 0.001) in the percentage of teeth with AP per patient between non-diabetic and diabetic groups, as depicted in Figure 2 .
We found a salience of fast respiratory waves with a period of 3.1 s (corresponding to ~ 0.32 Hz) and a highly significant ( p < 0.001) top-down information-flow from BOLD oscillations in the MFG to the brainstem.
This relationship was highly significant (z = 4.64, p < 0.001), with a confidence interval from 0.29 to 0.73.
Expression changes were highly significant ( Fig. 10 B ), with significant effects of treatment, pressure, and interaction ( P < 0.001), as determined by a two-way ANOVA on ΔC T values.

We found that eovx and eovy were highly significant predictors of counts ( s ( eovy, eovx ), p < 0.001), as was year ( s ( year ), p = 0.002).
A total of 12 lines showed extremely significant ( p ≤ 0.001) and stable higher SOC than recurrent parent ‘Emian22’ (Additional file 12 : Table S11), and 15 QTL were detected to be related to SOC using BLUPed data; of these QTL, 12 were firstly characterized and only two QTL for SOC have been reported previously in an interspecific population (Table 3 ) [ 43 ].
The Friedman test indicated a highly significant overall time effect (χ2 (2) = 43.46, p < 0.001), with a large within-subject effect size (Kendall’s W = 0.639).
Additionally, this difference increased further after 72 h (14.2-fold decrease of ME-Transformed IC50 value compared to the negative controls), and was highly significant ( p value < 0.001 at 48 h and <0.0001 at 72 h).
The largest drop in Hb was found to be 3.38 g/dL (SD = 1) and 2.49 g/dL (SD = 0.6) in the CTHA and RATHA cohort respectively which was found to be highly significant ( p < 0.001) ( Table 2 and Figure 1 ).
Lead and Cd were highly significant (p = 0.001), followed by Fe.
In contrast, those in the ‘good’ socio-economic status category revealed the highest prevalence at 34.3% ( n = 27, 95% CI = 21.4–47.2), indicating a highly significant difference ( p < 0.001).
The trend of decline in incidence since 1994 is highly significant (slope −0.0780, p < 0.001 by linear regression).
A statistical trend in developing a strong commitment to achieve a goal, and stop abandoning the goal was also observed in the intervention group ( p < 0.001) compared to the control group.
A highly significant difference was found between the male participants, who favored the male dentist and female participants preferring the female dentist (χ 2 = 47.16, p < 0.001).
Highly significant ( p < 0.001) indicators for the lab-reared slug group included the bacterial genera Pigmentiphaga , Ochrobactrum , Leucobacter , Candidatus Solibacter , and Luteolibacter and the bacterial families Rhodobacteraceae and Rhodocyclaceae .
The DIASS showed good internal consistency (Cronbach’s alpha = 0.86), and a good concurrent validity as shown through the highly significant association between forensic experts’ judgment reached using the DIASS and the court ruling on the real cases (rho = 0.674; p < 0.001).
The overall genetic differentiation among populations was low but highly significant (G st = 0.026; P < 0.001).
The P -values for colds, pneumonia, diarrhea, fever, vomiting, seizures, rashes, and jaundice were all highly significant ( P = 0.001), supporting that EBF reduces the risk of these infectious diseases.
In general, both Blap-6 and Gomesin showed highly significant statistical differences when compared with the controls (all conditions had a p < 0.001 ***).
Deoxycholic acid (DCA) shows a highly significant increase between the two doses with a p -value < 0.001 with a fold change of 6.0 ( Figure 2 , Table S2 ).
* p ≤0.05 was considered statistically significant, ** p ≤0.01 moderately significant and *** p ≤0.001 highly statistically significant.
Heterogeneity assessment and meta-analysis Highly significant heterogeneity was detected when all eligible studies were pooled (chi-squared = 35.73, I 2 = 72.0%, p<0.001).
A highly significant likelihood-ratio test ( χ 2 = 29,231, df = 3, p < 0.001) confirms that the random-effects (RE) specification fits the data far better than a fixed-effects (FE) approach, validating the choice to model heterogeneity explicitly.
