Following MTX intervention, both the testicular organ coefficient and epididymal organ coefficient in rats showed a decreasing trend, with statistical significance observed in all cases except for the left testicular organ coefficients ( P < 0.001, P < 0.01, P < 0.05, P > 0.05).

Results There was a decreasing trend in rates of mechanical (trend: −0.05% per year; P < 0.001), inflammatory or infectious (−0.48%; P < 0.001), and other (−0.19%; P < 0.001) complications from 2005 to 2018.

Psychological functioning A decreasing trend was found between 2000 and 2016 in the mean total T -score of the assessed adolescents on the CBCL ( β − 0.396, p < 0.001, 95% CI − 0.553 to − 0.240) and the YSR ( β − 0.278, p < 0.001, 95% CI − 0.434 to − 0.122).

TCD showed a decreasing trend with the increasing N:P ratio (Fig. 1 c), which had a significant difference among the treatments ( p = 0.001, Table 1 ), while the RCD of C. filispica showed a positive correlation and increased ( r = 0.363, Table 1 ).

Correlation analysis between the frequency of CD4 + and CD8 + MAIT cells demonstrated that as the percentage of CD4 + MAIT cells increased, the frequency of CD8 + MAIT cells exhibited a decreasing trend in the OLP group ( r = -0.5682, p < 0.001, n = 40, Fig. 2 D).
