This study illustrates that there are multimodal retinal markers that may be sensitive to CI decline, and adds to the evidence that there is a statistical trend pointing to the correlation between retinal neuronal dysfunction and microvasculature changes suggesting that retinal geometric vascular and functional parameters might be associated with physiological changes in the retina due to CI.
However, after adjustment for age and education, there was a statistical trend suggesting a lower risk of late refills when fertility desire was expressed compared to visits without fertility desire (aRR 0.68, 95% CI 0.44–1.03; χ 2 3.31).
