An observed trend is the use of sensor fusion to estimate joint angles, achieved by placing devices on both proximal and distal, or inferior and superior, segments and determining the orientation of each device relative to another [ 59 , 60 , 71 , 72 , 74 , 75 , 80 ].

One potential future direction for this research could be to extend the supplementation period to ascertain whether increasing the duration of supplementation would result in a more pronounced statistical difference between the study groups rather than merely an observed trend.
The risk of AP was 5% when the serum TG > 11.3 mmol/L and climbed to 10–20% when the serum TG > 22.6 mmol/L [ 9 , 10 ], and there was an observed trend toward a younger age [ 3 , 15 – 17 ], with a higher prevalence in males and a tendency to be associated with other risk factors such as diabetes, fatty liver, and dyslipidemia [ 12 , 15 , 18 ].
An observed trend indicated that unvaccinated patients exhibited an increased propensity for developing pneumonia and more severe disease manifestations, although this difference did not reach statistical significance ( P ═ 0.107) ( Table 5 ).

[ 33 , 43 , 44 , 45 ] An observed trend indicates that the threshold voltage shifts toward smaller values with an increase in the chain length of EG, as shown in Figure 1d and Table 1 .
This was also consistent with an observed trend for an upshift in the transition frequency in the estimated deformation across the lateral surfaces of the temporal bones.

This method estimates the probability that observed differences were driven by the novel agent rather than random effects such as recruitment bias (e.g., random selection of PD‐1 responders) and also shows whether an observed trend occurs evenly across the participant population or only in a subset of the population.
